Im just so tired of dealing with shallowness. People literally focus on what you wear, drive, and even eat. Especially the younger teenaged girls or young adults, they will critique you on anything. If you slightly walk out of place or have too much hair in a ponytail they laugh and gossip. People also stare WAY TOO MUCH in California. I never seen a state where people have to stare too much and they don't know how to mind their business. If I got to another area all the caucasians stare at me. If I go to an all Hispanic city then they stare at me and mistreat me especially the women they treat me so awful as if I want to steal their man. People are also not serious out here either. People will do all kinds of immature things to mess with someone. If you live in an apartment you will have immature low iq individuals who will do everything in their power to annoy you all day. People drive like immature children on the road. If one tailgates then the other car decides they are gonna tailgate even closer and speed behind the car. Another issue with people of California is the shallowness. I wish I never moved here I feel like I am drowning trying to make my way back on the titanic. Other women will treat you like trash if you don't fit the impossible beauty standards and guys don't treat average or natural black like humans. Even going to a job interview I get judged because I am skinny and black. It doesn't matter how much makeup I pound on. I hate makeup now and no longer wear it. That's another difference, people treat me like trash. I get no tips for being natural especially when my hair is curly. Living in California is so exhausting, I literally feel like I'm in one of those dreams like where you are trying to run but your body feels like jello and you are running in slow motion. I am so tired of living in California and I am breaking down from the judgement and cruelness of the people.
I'm a Californian but I will not dispute any of the things you said. They're mostly true which is why I try my best to mind my own business. Otherwise, I'd push back harder if somebody sticks her or his nose where it doesn't belong. However, I love being here because the weather suits me well, among other things. As long as I can easily afford the cost of living here, I'll keep on living here. When I get tired of some conditions here, I simply go to another sate or country where I have a vacation home to chill.
You're clearly fed up. I can easily understand your choice to depart. This a tough place.

I’m assuming you are the same anon that went on a similar rant a couple weeks ago and didn’t answer my question when I asked what part of California are you talking about

Sounds awful, where in California did you move to? Maybe I’m just biased, I live in the Central Valley and I don’t think it’s as bad over here.
Too many liberals and an idiot for a governor.
I don’t know. Sorry you’ve experienced that.
Come up to Washington. It’s better up here
Alright
