How do women pick without trying it on first?

So I can somewhat see the color difference but do y'all just choose blindly or is there somewhere you test it out on yourself before buying them cause I ran into this post and considering I can barely tell the difference how do women choose between similar colors like this? Lol

nowadays, there's plenty of content online they can use as a guide

Personally i just try my best to pick something that i think suits me, and hope to be right. Sometimes im wrong and i just have to let it go that i wasted bucks on it lol, but for the times im right i always go back for it.

I sometimes blind buy just to try it whether it would look good on but when I want something to work 100% then I use those testing products they have at drugstores.
