So I decided to wear one of my favorite dresses to school because I like wearing it and some random dude said I just wanted attention even tho I don't I just like wearing what I like wearing

I don't even pay attention to him or any other dudes at all, he's good looking but I don't like him I like his friend from another group so I ignore him and any other guys who are not the guy that I want and I noticed that they all are being weird towards me and a few have a crush on me even though they know that I want someone else.

That someone else being the one friend they are all friends with and are taller than, I don't want any of them i want the guy that I want and they all know that because the guy i want also wants me back but yet they are being weird towards me and keep staring at me and smiling.

I'm guessing that you looked really good and he wanted to make you feel bad about yourself. You know how mean girls get jealous about competition? Well he's a mean guy who was jealous because you didn't care about him. He was trying to pretend to not care about you so that his douche bag friends wouldn't razz him for not being able to get your attention. He didn't want them to think that you were too good for him.

Keep rocking your natural good looks. Be sweet and confident. Be yourself. Let jealous people with fragile egos eat their hearts out. Don't even worry about them.

People can be mean just to put other people down and make them feel better about themselves.
In German we have a saying (Schadenfreude) which translates to (pleasure derived by someone from another person's misfortune)

Dress how you want and don't care about what other people say.

Just an idiot jealous on how they look men and guys rarely understand women wear clothes because they like them not necesarly to attract their over inflated attention
