Is there a right and wrong time for speedos?

Beginning of vacation time with family this weekend and I’ll get the typical comment from my brother….”speedos are cool for the pool but not for the beach or family gatherings”.

I'm just used to them from swim meets for so many years, my go to whenever I wear a swimsuit. What does everyone else do/think?

Wear them anytime, it’s swimwear and ok at the beach

I wore them for the 4 years I was on my high school swim team and often at the beach or a pool party. But I do have a pair of more boxer looking swim trunks. I was always afraid of getting a boner while in the speedo cause it would be impossible to hide.

Speedos are just an Australian brand, which makes those underpants suit, shorts suit, goggles, etc. If you mean swim briefs, I support them. It’s just so annoying when I get in the water and bubbles erupt in my legs.

👍yup agree, I used speedo as a generic term vs. the brand. I mean swim briefs and you are spot on, re: bubbles in board shorts. No problems with swim briefs!

I'd be more concerned about the jungle growing on your chest than what kind of swimwear you are wearing. Doesn't it make you sweat?

Great insulation in the winter…lol. For swimming I’d shave it, but no need for that anymore, I like it natural. It’s really nothing compared to my brother, he’s the hairy one in the family.
