I've had bad luck with Nike and I've Never worn Adidas. I would not buy Nike unless it was a super good deal. I've mostly worn Saucony for the last 30+ years. They can be hard to find though, and can also be expensive. From what I've read they are starting to gain momentum in the serious runner market.

For shoes for court tennis, Nike. For most athletic clothes, Adidas -- they fit me better. For running shoes, Asics.

It's "Adidas", as in Adolf Dassler.

When younger I would have said Nike, now I just don't care. As long the shoe is comfortable is all I care about.

Neither, I always wore New Balance.

Nike- like the styling and fit better
