What’s a good skin care routine?

Okay you can do the whole cleanser, toner, exfoliater, serums, moisturizers, masks, under eye creams, etc. but that’s rlly a lot, unless you plan on getting into skincare, it’s okay to just use cleanser and a moisturizer. You can add in a toner if you want ( toner is like a 2nd step cleanser so it just makes sure ur skin is rlly clean while “toning” or evening out ur skin tone and it can help add in some extra hydration to ur skin)
you don’t need expensive skincare, there’s good affordable options like CeraVe which you can get from any store like Walmart or target. It’s a great brand a lot of dermatologists recommend. Just get their moisturizer and cleanser (I like the salicylic acid cleanser). Oh a sunscreen is pretty important too. Just cleanse and moisturize in the morning and night
whats the difference between the "rlly a lot" part and the cleanser and moisturizer? i've always considered skin care to be a women thing, but i feel like it could help me professionally to be more high maintenance.
Oh it’s because skin care can be 7 steps or if ur not into it as much, you can make it 2-3 steps only. The stuff I listed as “a lot” are all good for ur skin but I wouldn’t say they’re extremely needed. Moistures and cleanser are the two essential steps you can’t go without.
Also yeah I think people make skincare out to be too feminine, it’s not feminine to want to take care of yourself and ur skin, everyone should. I have guy friends who do skincare too.
which one do you do?
1) wash face with purpose
2) exfoliate with with hazel with cotton rounds
3) Estée Lauder night repair serum at night
no drugs, alcolohol, cigarettes, soda and avoid salt and sugar (unless it’s coming from a national source like a StRaWBErRy. Drink a gallon of water and run a mile every day for 3 months then come back to me :)
WITCH HAZEL
Avoid salt and sugar? Lol what?
Salt can cause you to retain excess body fluid, causing puffy skin and under-eye bags ☝🏻
But that serum is super pricey and your skin looks fine to me ☺️
So that’s where the bags under my eyes come from. There has to be another way.
Sleep deprivation can play a factor in this. I went a whole year being anal about having my food salt free and I had no noticeable bags
But now I do whatev 😜
It’s def the salt. I sleep fine but when cooking I season everything with salt. Even my veggies.
Aww yeah maybe so. Salt adds flavor though. I’d use use less if it. Also, as we age, we lose collagen, even under i skin.

With the way your head is positioned with the chair in the background it makes you look like Dracula.
Maybe I am bro. Maybe I am.

Best to consult a cosmetologist and ask, advising customers about best skin care routines and products is a large part of what they do. Sephora has consultants, as do larger stores like Macy and Nieman Marcus.
Facial cleanser, toner, vitamin c, moisturizer, sunscreen (oxybenzone-free).
All of those at once?
Yes, every day
Just use water and soap
Where are you from?
What?
Why does that matter?
It’s a simple question, which country are you a citizen of?
That’s nonsensical. It doesn’t matter what country I’m from. Take a hike.
As a licensed beautician, I understand the impact of climate on your skin, even if you may not realize it. The country you live in plays a significant role in determining the right skincare routine for you. For instance, if you reside in a tropical country, it's beneficial to use skincare products that contain ingredients like vitamin C and salicylic acid. These ingredients help protect your skin from the effects of humidity and heat. On the other hand, individuals in colder countries can benefit from skincare products that contain vitamin D and Ascorbic Acid, which help combat dryness and environmental aggressors. To provide you with more personalized advice, I asked where you are from as it allows me to give you more detailed information tailored to your specific climate and skincare needs.
In that case I’m living in the Midwest.
I thought you were trying to find where I live so you could have sex with me. And that’s just not okay to ask someone.
