Is it rude for people to ask if you got plastic surgery?

Is it rude to ask someone if they got lip fillers, botox, plastic surgery simply by observation? I've been asked if I have lip fillers by strangers and friends and I find it a slightly weird question. I've never had them. But is it weird or rude to ask people that question? Why do people ask people if they've had plastic surgery?

i dont think so simply cause plastic surgery is suppose to be a good thing but if you didn't get any i can see why youd get offended cause the truth is that most of the time it makes things worse lol

Lol a guy asked me if my body was all natural because I still am thin after having children before people have asked about my lips too it’s just curiosity not meant to offend.

Yes it’s extremely rude. I’d say that’s a really personal question regardless of what the answer is.
