I am not sure if I would use the word rude but I personally think I would find it a bit annoying if another person asked me this. It would feel to me like they are butting into my business and they are not minding their own business.

The examples you gave, yes of course, that would be inappropriate. But, for example just yesterday I went to a pool party here in Los Angeles and I was having fun wearing bright blue colored contact lenses, and I may or may not have had a drink or two before seeing a girl who clearly had plastic surgery on her chest, so I very confidently walked up and said hi, do you like my fake eyes because I like your fake tits, and she actually laughed and we talked for a bit. Because clearly they got them for attention, so anyway, yeah.

Cosmetic surgery is a big sign of mental insecurity, so I would want to know and I don't give a shit if that's offensive or not. I don't want some plastic surgery disaster that can't stand to look at herself in the mirror, who tears herself apart mentally because she doesn't look like some other plastic surgery disaster on tv, dumb social media, or in some dumb magazine. Once a woman has more than one cosmetic surgery, you're dealing with a fucking nutcase.

It may well be rude , but its important to understand if you participate in this stuff you will be questioned , there is plastic surgery and plastic surgery of course , some completely cosmetic , so you will be questioned , just be prepared.

I think it depends on the time, place and manner. I've always been a pretty good tap dancer, meaning, I can tap dance around a question, and dance into one as well. Ask the individual how they feel about it? What their thoughts are on it? Speak about someone you know that had it done and how much it helped them... and see the response, feel it out.
