If I’m a women am I supposed to be feminine and dress feminine like dresses and skirts?

Am I supposed to dress modestly and femininely? Do you guys know how to be feminine and modest?

Be comfortable. Dress so you're comfortable and so that you feel confident.

The modesty thing is tricky. You're never going to please everyone. If you dress "too" modest, guys and girls alike will call you a prude. If you dress another way, you'll be labeled nasty things.

So, that takes you back to comfortable and confident in clothes that you like and fit you well.

As far as style, go people watching. And watch the clothing in shows and movies. Read magazines. Copy what you like and discard the rest.

I have before and I’ve seen what other girls have worn and I don’t know why but like when I see girls dress a way I’m not really allowed to dress at home, sometimes I say to myself like “oh her outfit is so cute, if she’s wearing that, I’m allowed to wear it to?” Or “if she’s wearing it, I can also wear similar clothing like her?” I don’t know why I do it though.

You will, unfortunately, almost always be judged. Regardless of what you do. Here's a story to illustrate that: when I left the Navy, I let my hair grow out. A bunch of people told me I was lacking discipline and was letting myself go. So I cut my hair again. The same people chastised me saying I couldn't let go and was living in the past.

So, we can't necessarily win. Chart your own course within the confines of what works for you and, while you're young, the authority in life (parents, school dress code, etc.).

your not supposed to dress any particular way... i wore short dresses and skirts initially because it excited me to do so... i liked men looking at me i liked wearing shortskirts because i mainly felt i had a great pair of legs... i'm sure most women don't feel this way and some do... but i don't feel you can mandate what would should be wearing as a rule... you should wear and look how you feel comfortable and what you'd like to wear.
