Is it bad to be too feminine?

My friends (we are all in our early 20s) always tease me because they say I am "too feminine", "soft", "girly" and "a lady". I think they are right, I am all those things, but they say it as if it´s something bad.

To me, it´s normal: I like wearing dresses, taking care of my hair, wearing nice perfumes and things like that. Of course I sometimes curse and I love ac/dc (something nobody would guess if they saw me), I like sports and motorcycles, but I just look very feminine.

Guys: is it a turn off if a girl is too girly?

I enjoy a girl like that. In fact, my current girlfriend is exactly the same way. There is absolutely no problem with a girl being feminine and if that's who you are, don't let someone else make you feel like you have to change. Honestly, the real issue is more likely insecurity on their part. Feel sorry for the fact that they have a severe confidence deficiency and don't feel like you have been doing the wrong thing.

It is just fine. My girlfriend of the past five years is ultra feminine and I love her and her femininity very much.

I am a girlie girl. I love doing my hair and makeup and dressing up. But I also have a tomboy side and love to go mudding, hunting, fishing and shooting. I even do my hair and makeup when for when I do those. All my guys friend snake fun of me but vibe have to do you. I'm a girlie girl at heart. You just have to own it.

It's not a turn off, but you and I probably wouldn't get along. I'm very much your opposite. I had a very girlie exchange sister last year and she loved perfume so much that our room smelled awful. It was so thick, I couldn't breathe...so don't be too extreme with that, ok?

it's not bad,straight men are attracted to women-feminine qualities. some men may prefer tomboys,but that's not a reason for you to change,or think there's something wrong with you. femininity/masculinity should never be something shameful if we want equality.
