I believe it's useless to follow fashion, because fashion changes every two weeks.

It's like choosing names for your kids - why would you choose the name that is currently popular, if in 10 or 20 years (when your child would be a teenager) this name can be already completely outdated

I don’t follow fashion. I just live it. Fashion has no rules to me. Your style is your fashion statement! Every person has their own style. Wear what works for you and make you feel confident and good about yourself. Wear something that represents you!

I just try and keep outfits simple and classical.

I think at my age, I just look stupid if I wear anything too fancy.

Plus often I've bought things, thought they look okay, and then worn them only once. It's wasteful.

Plus clothes are different for men and women. There's a much greater breadth of options for women. Women have lots of pretty options that men can't get away with. Men's clothing is usually quite awful, and often 'gay' looking.

So yes, keep fashionable stuff to 20 yo's like you. It's not for old bastards like me.

I love fashion but I only follow the one I like and I search fro fashion from all over the world and mix it to my liking. For make up though I don't follow trends and only do the one I like which is always the same (when i apply make up) which is pale face with pink lips and rosy cheeks.

For clothes I mainly like tweed, pearls, gold button (the French girl style), Japanese fashion (like Reiwa gyaru or Liz Lisa / Rojita), American hollister girly / cute clothes and a little bit of Korean fashion (though lately is it not as good as the one from the late 2010s.

And i kind of just mix everything to my liking.

I always wear the cheapest gym shoe I can afford such as New Balance and I wear the cheapest shorts, cheapest t-shirts with Bands or Wolves on them. I don't go with the fashion because the price is outrageous, and I don't have the money.

I have some vague awareness of current fashion trends but rarely follow them. I have very conservative taste in clothing, and that is never the "height" of fashion but it is never out of fashion.

If I wasn't broke, I think I would follow it and be a total fashionista. When I'm not at work, I try my best to dress to the nines in what I can afford. It's not name brand clothing but it looks nice enough.
