You must be home-schooled, kiddo. Hence know little of biology.
The male scrotum and penis does not "sit" well (if at all) in the crotch of a thong. At best you'll have a testicle either side, at worst, you'll strangle bloodflow.
It would be like using string as a bra.

  They do make them with loose fabric allowing the same support of briefs. My spandex short briefs are tighter than some thongs. Just need a size up.

Because it doesn’t actually do anything for guys and it’s usually seen as lingerie, which normal guys do not wear.

It’s become normal for me. I know multiple guys that wear them. Read the online reviews, half are from men. I will say they are comfortable and feel sexy.

I like wearing them, it feels comfortable. I like wearing it so my stuff is all tucked down between my legs so it's flat out front. Being able to be free and wear so little without any hint of my parts is freeing and more guys should try it. As long as their wieners will cooperate lol but mine works okay. Women's g strings are my favorite
