Facial hair is somethihg I consider more masculine yes. Not a requirement for it but its not something that makes you less manly.
Make up on the other hand can enhance either side. Yes generally more used for the feminin side.
Technically viking war paint could count as makeup though.

Yes!! Absolutely! Makeup is typically worn by women. And facial hair is grown by men. That’s what society deems normal but also biology for the facial hair thing. No one has to subscribe to this as the norm, but by majority standards it is.

I've never understood mens obsession with their beards. Most beards look like absolute shit to me, maybe that's the whole point, to look like shit. I fine that more often than not the beard is used to hide the lack of facial structure beneath, like no chin, weak bone structure etc.

That's the common social perception, I guess. Personally I don't really care, I think the vast majority of men look better with some kind of facial hair and women generall look better with some make up. To be clear - facial hair can look like shit if styled badly and make-up needs to be subtle to look good.

  @Kelly6 I mean I know a lot of stereotypical “tomboys” that wear at least some makeup. I also know some guys with facial hair that are more feminine than I am.
