People know bleach exists right? I had light blonde hair like my mom before the same shade and everything and guess what it was bleached. People thought I was naturally blonde even when my roots became visible.

some do. one reason is that eastern Europe is a cold climate and blonde hair + blue eyes are more common in cold areas. the logic behind this is that light features such as blue eyes and blonde hair allow more light to come in, thus allowing more heat absorption from the sun, which helps keep the body in homeostasis. darker features reflect light and are also dominate genes.

The beauty standard setting in traditional Western settings is not applicable.
And personally I found them to be really nice towards me. I met a penpal on a Russian site and she always liked me features even though I am not European. It will always be imprinted on my mind that she said that whenever I showed her my picture 🤗

I had penpals from Russia, mostly they were women in their 40s. I always thought that she was my long lost aunt. Extremely kind and caring people. Even my male Russian penpal is pretty good man. He always praises his wife too. And he is really kind and always messages me to see how I am. Oh I just wish the invasion didn't happen. I lost most of my Russian correspondence back around the Invasion time. Ukrainians are equal in praise in my eyes 👀. I remember buying Ukrainian clothes from their and this woman running the store was Ukrainian and her husband was Indian. And she was also very nice woman

if you could zoom out of the world but still be able to see every single head of hair, even if you want to argue that most have "brown" hair, the place in the world where you would see MORE blonde heads would be significant parts of Europe, hence back to the conclusion of why people see blonde in their had when they think of Europe. Yes, Slavs usually have small and slightly receding chins. Their eyes tend to be hooded, noses are broad in width, and lips can be quite plump as well.

It's not like you could eyeball that, not a lot of people can know if someone has bottled blonde hair. Most people in Belgium have their hair bleached, some people would probably think we have lots of naturally blonde haired people. Usually the people with North-European DNA are blonde w/ blue eyes. I also asked this question 'cause there were lots of people from Ukraine coming to our country to run from the war and people were shocked they all had naturally brown hair.

I guess im a little confused with the issue in thinking a lot of eastern europeans have those physical features. I live in california and think most mexicans to the south of us have brown hair brown eyes... am i bad for thinking that way?
