Does anyone wear corduroys?

When I was a little kid my Mom wasn’t a fan of jeans and dressed me in corduroys. Nowadays, when not in a suit, I can mostly be found in jeans and khakis, with sweats occasionally on the peripheries and weekends. But I still have one pair of ‘cords’ and every time I put them on, I fall in love again with the fuzzy softness. Where’s everyone else on cords?

Love em! Have multiple colours. Wear them everyday!

Inspired, and perhaps egged-on by the split of opinions, I started searching and ordered a pair from from JCrew!

I would say I am a the opposite of your clothing habits. I have three or four pair of corduroys that I wear in the fall and winter months. I don't think I've owned a pair of jeans in about 10 years now. I just seem to wear them out quickly regardless of brand.

They are a bit dainty. Any particular brands you recommend keeping an eye out for? The ones I’m wearing now are Austin Reed from England.

I think all of mine are from the brand PRANA. I have some rock climbing pants from them as well, they seem to make it comfortable yet long wearing clothing. All of my corduroys are the thin wale versus the wide wale

I always liked cord trousers in darker colors. I have to buy a new one.

I haven't worn corduroys since I was pre-kindergarten age back in the early 80s when they were still in fashion. I know cords saw a bit of a resurgence in the 90s, but I never got into it.

Mens warehouse sells out every year fast on dress courdorouy pants. They are very popular and still stylish.

I have probably never seen anyone wear that. Please don’t go that route. You can stay sane and normal like the rest of us.
