Why do I feel hurt by what a middle school students say?

I’m a teacher and I overheard some students talking in low voices about teachers. There’s one teacher who is nice looking and my male students think he’s attractive… I overheard them say my name and say I wasn’t “fine.” Which is okay but they do laugh at me and say inside jokes about my appearance. I did dress up more but I’ve heard comments like this my whole life and now I see why I’m never a guys first choice. Lol
