Do teeth whitening kits actually work or are you better off going to a dentist to get it done?

I've never tried them before... nor needed them

but I've been going to the dentist twice a year, and for years now and I know one thing... the discoloration of teeth can have a lot of different causes and a few of them are genetic or could come from some illness too, and these could be things that a whitening kit would not resolve, so... it would be wise to first, get an assessment of the situation, with a professional, a dentist

Yeah they do. My dental hygienist said the over the counter ones are safe as well. That's what concerned me. I don't want to shorten the life of my choppers just to have whiter teeth.

My daughter uses it from time to time. Like once a month. It’s not recommended to use often.
she take very good care of her teeth with daily brushing and flossing.

Dentist, but actual teeth aren't super white. I had mine deep cleaned and they are off white. They practically bleach your teeth for that white smile.

They definitely do from what I've seen.. I've watched videos of people who have left whitening strips in for too long and their teeth was White, but badly sensitive... So all that to say they do work at least.. LOL..

My dentist told me they work but the whitener is not as strong as what dentists use so can take several treatments.

Yes they work. But be careful. They can damage your gums. It’s better to brush daily to avoid gum disease.

Your teeth aren't supposed to be bleach white. They are actually supposed to be off white.
