It's always kind of been a dream of mine to meet someone who has stretch marks (or some other perceived "flaw") who is really self-conscious and ashamed of them, and through my love and affection for her, and for them, it shows her just how beautiful she really is. And from that, all of her self-consciousness fades away, and in its place, all that is left is a sense of inner peace, self-confidence and a gratefulness for my love of something that she no longer has to worry about anymore. ☺️ To turn a negative into a positive so to speak.

I just wish all women who have them could come to a sense of inner peace about them. Learn to love them because they're worth loving, and you're beautiful just the way you are. Stretch marks aren't just "beautiful too", they're just beautiful. End of sentence. 💙

Ah yes. I'd definitely say so. I don't know if it's necessarily about just the stretch marks by themselves, but the person they're attached to. It's more about seeing the person's true natural self, instead of something fake. Same with cellulite, really.

If a woman is in the very small percentage of women who somehow don't have stretch marks or cellulite I won't find her unattractive, but I just like seeing the person's natural self, whatever that may be.

If a person were to try to hide or get rid of their stretch marks or cellulite it would a turn off because it shows insecurity. There's literally nothing wrong with them.

Even if they are considered "flaws" or "imperfections," it's just part of being human, and flaws and imperfections can often make something more charming.

I wouldn't call them sexy or cute - they are "flaws" after all (I have them too!), but they are also common and nothing I'd consider a deal-breaker.

I think we can recognize things as flaws (i. e., being honest with ourselves) while still recognizing that body flaws are normal, common, and no big deal. I would put scars, blemishes, flaky skin, and similar things in the same category. We nearly all have several of those issues. Perfection is nonexistent and even being close is extremely rare.

If the blemish is not too obvious, therefore contained, it is not a problem for me and for most men.

@nastyb I couldn't care less about what's "acceptable" in porn. I'm not living in a porn world, are you? If you're using porn or media as the measuring stick as far as what "is" and "isn't" attractive for women to have (or not have), then you have a very twisted sense of vanity.

By your metric, any woman (or guy) who has stretch marks is therefor "unattractive". If that were true for the majority of people in the court of public opinion, and everyone was so turned off by them, that would mean the vast majority of women who have them would not have partners. Which is simply not the case. Not even in the slightest.

The fact is, the majority of guys either don't care and don't mind them one way or the other, and others actually like them. Just read through all the comments here and you'll see what the majority sides with. It seems you are hung up on porn somehow being some kind of determining factor of what "is" and "isn't" attractive or acceptable in society. It isn't. Again, porn is a highly distorted lens to view vanity through. Nor does it reflect the real world. At all. If you can't understand why that is, there's no point in debating this any further.

However, in addition to your other point: there are tons of women (and men) who have stretch marks who are not, and who have never been overweight. Stretch marks are not solely caused by being overweight. They also commonly form due to growth spurts as kids or young adults, due to bodily changes from going to the gym (i. e. gaining muscle mass), but also due to genetics that give people's skin different properties and propensities. People's skin is not the same from person to person, and some people are more prone to developing stretch marks than others. Regardless of if they ever become overweight or not. Weight is not always the determining factor. There are lots of people who have never been overweight once in their life who have developed stretch marks. The notion that stretch marks only come from being overweight, or from pregnancy, is ill-informed. It isn't the only way...

... Bottom line is that porn is a very poor way to form an opinion on what "is" and "ins't" in the real world. It's one thing to have an opinion about something, and you are entitled to not like something if you don't like it, but to project that onto what the majority of people think isn't very intellectually honest.

If you have any doubt, don't just take my word for it, or anyone else here for that matter. Do a search for "stretch marks" in the search field above and read through ALL of the questions asked about this topic here in GAG over the years - there's a ton of them - and you will see that the vast majority of them have a majority of people saying they either don't care, or they actually like them. It's not a matter of if people see them as "sexy" or not. That wasn't my point. It's the fact that the majority of people are tolerant of them, and that stretch marks just aren't an issue. But to use porn as an example, that isn't based on reality.

Ultimately, I feel it's important for women to see and hear these things for themselves so they can stop feeling like crap about their own bodies about something that most people aren't bothered by at all. The more people who can stop feeling like crap about themselves, the better. I think that in itself has merit.

stretch marks, cellulite is a sign of bad health or bad history. You would usually only get stretch marks if you were very big at one point in life. Cellulite is fat. Its usually caused by a high fat diet.
Sure, some people store cellulite much quickly than others. Just like how some people never get cellulite regardless of how unhealthily they eat. But humans are designed to be attracted to those with good reproductive value.
