you can just look that up on youtube on just google it. you'll get way better answers than on here. besides 35 yos dress younger than 40yos so enjoy that you can dress a bit younger for the moment instead of trying to get a 40 something's wardrobe already

anyways i think 40 yo are expected to be more modest than younger people but at least in her early 40s to mid 40s not look like a nun if they are still slim. also they tend to be expected to wear more dressy, chic, elegant stuff, and less laid back, casual stuff

you could also not give a shit and wear what you want to also. it's hard to look ridiculous anyways at that age as long as you stay away from teen fashion, goth stuff or very revealing things

Well, maybe you should start with something that is obviously "ridiculous" like a clown costume... and something that is obviously not "ridiculous" like a really boring grey suit... and try to find the middle ground where the line between ridiculous and not-ridiculous lies.
