Yes it does honestly

Being physically attractive can have 3 parts: Hair, Face and Body... meaning that you'll need all the 3 to be in good form

Thus you'll have to indulge in a consistent well planned skin routine but doesn't mean you have to spend the whole day before mirror

The hardest among the 3 I would say is to have and maintain an attractive body.. now don't call fat shaming on me but it is a fact that most people find only fit people attractive who are neither too fat nor too thin

In case of men , basically the less your body fat percentage is the more attractive you are, but not too low which tends to look weird

To achieve this you have to workout consistently and have a strict diet... you'll have to moniter everything you put inside your mouth (no pun intended) and of course can't eat junk foods or something like a cheesecake or anything that most people crave for.. on a regular basis

I think it depends on what certain people feel attracted to...

if your idea of being attractive and others being attracted to is... very built and muscular, athletic bodies... then that does require a lot of effort and discipline with the gym and diets and all of that

for others who are more into glam, fashion, accessories... and style, this too... has another set of "effort" and requirements

even when you're attracted to personalities and character, you could even say that yes... becoming a better and more likeable person can be the work of a life time... lol

I believe in natural attractiveness. I believe that my traits can attract someone, and I also would like him. I believe my red hair can be attractive to this special person.

I'm on the lucky side, as I have clean skin without much effort from my side :D so just washing it and using some cream is more than enough. I'm not ashamed of the wrinkles around my eyes; they are here because I smile and laugh a lot.

What takes an effort is fighting with the inner demons. We all have them and they can be very unattractive...

Yes it does, it's a lie to say it doesn't take any effort because for example staying or losing weight takes effort, if it's not physically it's mentally, it takes strength to for example watch someone eat cake and you gotta eat a damn salad lol

But I guess it depends because of genetics, it take more effort for some than others, depending on metabolism, hair growth genetics, certain body parts, for example in women plum lips is highly known is attraction and some women aren't born with plum lips when others are.

Yes. It does. Fitness requires effort. Dressing stylishly. Tending to hair and hygiene (and even more if you’re a woman).

Some people have a natural beauty that they couldn’t hide even if they wanted to, but it still takes some amount of effort.

Yes, in my case it's a lot of effort. I am conscientious about what I eat and drink, keeping my teeth clean, keeping my skin and hair soft, my nails kept, clean clothes that are presentable and fashionably appropriate, etc.

For others, maybe it doesn't take as much effort.

Since people are generally around average looking, to really stand out takes conscious effort for most. Myself included.

For instance, if I shaved my beard & took a photo at a bad angle, I would get zero bitches. But since I have a beard & know how to take pretty decent photos, I still get no bitches, but I definitely don't look as bad if you get my drift.

It definitely does. You need to have good hygiene, workout consistently, and clean yourself up in a way that you've optimized over years. If you lived in poverty your entire life and haven't been able to maintain good hygiene or afford products for your hair and face or workout on specific parts of your body, then you're less likely to be attractive.

Yes and no. The more you work on yourself the more overall attractive you're going to be. But to a man or woman that doesn't find you attractive there is NOTHING you can do to make yourself attractive. Likewise to a man or woman that thinks the sun shines out of your ass there's not a lot you can do to diminish your attractiveness.

In short it's good to take pride in your appearance. But don't obsess. Because at the end of the day none of it makes a HUGE difference.

Most definitely.. Good looking people are good looking because they put effort into how they look.. Yeah some did have a good headstart genetically, but you can only be so naturally attractive..
