Does your workplace have a dress code and if so what is it?

I wear scrubs or blue jeans and a t-shirt to work. Nobody cares what people wear there.

Sorta. I wear scrubs, but I can also wear semi casual or business attire.

Basically anything but blue jeans and street clothes. I just wear scrubs because they're easy to wash and I don't have to stress over what to wear each morning.

"Dress for the audience you will be working with."

i. e. if you're going to be meeting/working with suits, you wear a suit. If you're visiting another company, dress for that company. If you're just going to be coding in your office all day with the dude with a blue mohawk wearing a dress and combat boots, then cyber-goth is perfectly fine.

I've actually gone to hacker/security conventions with my fellow coders (guys with hair down to their waist, tats on display, etc.) and we were the most conservative ones there, lol.

I have had two workplaces, in one place, I am free to wear anything as long as it’s Business Casual Style, in another one, which is my full-time job, they have a jacket they want you to wear.

Currently I work from home and wear whatever I want.

At full-time job, just a stylish jacket that is a symbol of our company, everyone wears it including our employers. It has the name of our company written on it.

At 2nd workplace, which is part-time, I coach principals and mentor newcomer employees - so I need to look more professional and I choose my own wardrobe.

It's nice that they provide this jacket for you and it saves you having to do something about that part of dressing.

As for a security job that is the best i got, all he asks is black pants with black shoes. My shirt? Well it's covered by the security uniform. But on my gig jobs, they want us to come in button up and black slacks... black slip shoes too. It's a nice gig.

You can get by without a tie but if you're not wearing tactical gear you better be in a suit. Never know if/when you're going before a judge or congress

I wear whatever I feel like, or nothing at all for that matter. Working from home has its advantages.

Not really. Office casual is expected but not enforced. So etimes the job requires a person to get dirty, in which case Jean's are fine.

There’s PPE requirements for most facilities we’re in and out of, but no. Anything you wear is gonna get trashed eventually anyway so nobody cares
