+1 yHollister smells good but haven't been there since HS. Abercrombie and Fitch is better. I like stuff from Zumiez, Adidas, Nike, Kohls, Dicks, Urban Planet, Urban Outfitters, Levi, Pink, Pacsun, Calvin Klein, Hot Topic, Ralph Lauren

+1 yI usually go to Wal-Mart since it's the cheapest and I used to shop at Sears and the Bay too. For special events where I have to look good, I shop at Lauras but I only go for weddings or when they have discounts. I remember they had a sale one March cause they wanted to replace their winter selection with spring outfits, and I got a jacket at over 75% off and it looked just as good as new one at full price. It had duck feathers inside so was beautiful and warm.

+1 yThrift store... I usually buy 5.11 pants or any kind of outdoorsman stuff. All random stuff like North Face or Colombia and whatnot. People buy that shit and then take it to the thrift store because they got too fat. That's when my sexy ass buys it and I ask the clerk if she likes my big dick pants and give her my number.

+1 yI’m way too old for it now, lmao, but I worked at Hollister back when I was young and cool, so shout out to my 2000s Bird Gang

@7Phoenix7 Damn, you just gonna hit me with a past tense on a casual Sunday morning?😭😂 “Tell us what life was like before you looked like the CryptKeeper, grandpa!”💀💀💀 I kid😜
Haha, yeah, it was kind of crazy to look behind the A&F/Hollister curtain (worked at A&F a bit too). Group interview, and they asked one question: “if you were a Michael Jackson song, which one would you be?” Yo….. I said Smooth Criminal and still got the job😂 There was another dude at the interview who looked like Milton from Office Space (the “they…they took a thtapler off my dethk…I…I haven’t retheived a paycheck in thixth weekth…I…I…I could thet the building on fire…🤓🔥” guy). This dude was like 40 with a bowl cut, a non-ironic mustache, wearing khaki Bermuda shirts with dress shoes and dress socks, and a belt clip for his cellphone💀💀💀….. safe to say, he was not hired, lmfao - +1 y
@7Phoenix7 “You’re not even old!” will skyrocket you up the charts with me😝
Any employer who doesn’t want a criminal THIS smooth frankly doesn’t deserve me.
I’m sorry but my dude was NOT a fit. Everything was skewed young there. 30 year old regional manager. 26 year old district manager. I was a dinosaur at like 23 or 24, the store manager was only 25. The company was REALLY run by older people in an office somewhere with actual experience who knew what they were doing, lmao, and they’d fax in a step-by-step game plan to follow each morning, all spelled out to the most minute detail. The district manager came in one day and gave us the most cringe hype speech I’ve ever heard. He told us the company doesn’t advertise because they rely on us, the “models” (I can’t believe I can legitimately write “model” on my resumé🤦♂️😂) to be the advertisement to the customers, that we’re there (for $7.25/hr and 20% of $12 t-shirts, lmao) because we’re cool and sexy and all this, and he goes “you have to understand, you guys are like DEMIGODS to the customer.” Sir, kindly take your HCo Hermosa Beach Sherpa-lined ‘La Jolla Surf’-colored Zip-up Hoodie and get the fuck from ‘round me with that nonsense🤨🤨🤨 That place was wild, but a fun place to work🤙 Customers would always ask me if I was from California, I guess because I’m blonde and there are surfboards on the wall, and they apparently didn’t notice that I talk like I’m straight out of Good Will Hunting😂😂😂 - +1 y
@7Phoenix7 No long hair, I only started that when I started hockey and Covid happened. There is no way —NO WAY— I would have done this in my peak single years. I haven’t had a woman look my way in like three years, lmfao, and I don’t blame them one bit. But at least a bunch of sweaty hockey bros think I have the best “flow” in the league, so that’s something😂 Probably will cut it later this year though, I’m way too vain to go on this way, hahaha
- +1 y
@7Phoenix7 I don’t think they’d believe me as soon as they saw the hair😂

I can’t believe this is real life on top of my head, lmao. Looks dummy fresh when I tie it up at the top and pull it through a hole I cut in the center of a few retro 90s hats, though. It’s like Kid in House Party 3, just to totally date myself, lmao. I either look cool and original, or like a complete lunatic. Probably the latter, but I do what I want😝 Maybe it’s a believable hairdo for a comedian though, haha.
My buddy is getting into stand-up right now, going to this open mic that’s pretty much just other comedians and they give each other feedback. He’s been asking me to go try it, but I don’t know. I tell pretty good but long, rambling stories, and many times people have been like “dude…. I had no idea where you where going…. you lost me like four times…. but I’m glad I stuck around til the end because that was hilarious.”
So I think people find me funny, but “brevity is the soul of wit”, and I think that’s my big flaw in terms of being any good at stand-up. I’m good conversationally, in a back and forth, or a group setting and chiming in with something that gets a good laugh, but I don’t know if I have like “set material”, you know? My friend sent me the link to his set, and he’s not good, lmao. He’s sending me his notes and I’m trying to help with his writing a little, but it’s kind of the same as I feel about myself: pretty funny in a casual setting, but maybe not a stand-up comedian. I’m best at just throwing in little quips in the moment, or quoting TV and movie lines that are appropriate to the situation, which is sort of my gift, those coming to me immediately with ease, but you can’t do that as a comedian, it’s inherently derivative, haha, I’m using someone else’s joke for a laugh. But I do appreciate you saying that😊

however, you can find the odd gem in most of them.
Shopping in late 30s is not good. Because you're not quite dead yet. But those shops cater to 20 year olds who love gaudy shite. Or too many meaningless labels and logos is another annoyance.

+1 yThe CEO of Zara is a Zionist that supports Israel that has killed 12,000 children. Never buying anything from there again
I like Uniqlo, Asos and Aritzia
10 ReplyH&M just doesn't make its clothes like it used to, I like Zara but Pull&Bear is defo my fave, their stuff reminds me of Bershka.
10 Reply548 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Goodwill!!! Just kidding, but I buy clothes mainly for work, so they have to be sturdy and comfortable. For pants I have more Levi's than other brands, so my shopping is at department stores like Target, Kroger, and Kohls.
