What should I do with them?

I’m 35; and I never go out anywhere fancy anymore. I have limited wardrobe space. I’m wondering if most of my beautiful party dresses are just going to waste. Should I keep them, or just donate most of them to the secondhand store? Keep just a few of them?

Ah man, is a tough call with the dresses. On one hand, they probably took some cash to buy back in the day and bringing them to a thrift store doesn't get that money back. But if you ain't wearing them much anymore, they are kinda wasting valuable closet space chillin there.

Maybe have a look through and see which ones you can picture possibly wearing again someday, like if you get invited to a fancy wedding or something. Keep the real stand-out ones you love the most that you'd hate to lose.

The rest you could prob donate. At least that way someone else will get to enjoy them, and you free up room for clothes you actually wear regularly. Never know, someone might see one at the thrift store and think it's a sick find!

Another option, you could try selling online. Facebook Marketplace, Poshmark, etc. Might get a little cash back to put towards clothes you'll wear more.

Or maybe a few are wearable to more casual nights out still. No harm in trotting them out if you go to a nice dinner or something. Never know when an opportunity will come up!

You already asked this so many times. And dressing fancy doesn't require somewhere to be. I dress up all the time just for the fun of it. People always stop to compliment me. Life's too short to dress like a slob and be boring, looking like everyone else.

Buy a mobile clothes rack. You can double or even tripled your wardrobe space in seconds.

There are some online selling apps, you can try to sell them for a reasonable price!
