What’s a beach wedding dress code?

Something breathable, loose fitting but elegant. I wore an off white blouse, lightly jeweled dress flops, and summer silk paisley print shorts to an outdoor beach wedding. It was 90 in Florida sun. I’m glad I did wear what I wore bc their original pastor was stuck behind an accident that caused a two hour traffic jam. This random man and his wife on the beach saw all the confusion. He happened to be an ordained minister and gave a kickass non-denominational ceremonial and vows despite not knowing my cousins and just volunteering.

If you’re worried ask the bride any specific colors or styles she’d like to see. Most likely it’ll be hot or might rain so something casual, loose fitting and tasteful.

You’d have to ask the couple but I’d wear something water color or very light and airy. Very much still structured because it’s a wedding but not linen boho vibes

Bikini  for the  Bride  and a  Hawaiian Shirt  and  Shorts  for the  Bridegroom ! Guests wear pretty much the same!

I just got back from a destination wedding in Jamaica on the beach, we basically wore colorful clothes, no suits, it was more formal for the guests, only the bride and groom wore a dress and suit, but I did ask the groom way ahead of time what I should wear for a beach wedding when it was 85 degrees Fahrenheit out

You can make the dress code whatever you want it to be if you're the bride. If you aren't the bride, ask her what the dress code is.
