I use a brand called Frudia. It's been the best sunscreen I have ever used since it is very matte in terms of its texture, but does not leave white cast on my skin. I also love their lip balms as well.👄👄👄

I'm used to being out in the sun all day, but you know, I don't want to end up with wrinkly skin or ruin my boyish allure for all my imaginary friends. So I dedicated myself to getting a proverbial PhD in sunscreen.
Anyway, I decided to look into sunscreen, and let me tell you, there are so many brands out there! It's like paradise! I mean, I'm not really sure what I'm doing, but I'm sure I'll figure it out. You know, just like I figured out that Donald Trump is an evil capitalist who doesn't support human rights and that transsexuals are beautiful. I'm a real expert on everything, not the least of which is sunscreen.
I've been doing some research, and I found out that there are different types of sunscreen, like physical and chemical sunscreens. I'm not really sure what the difference is, but I'm sure it's important. Maybe it's like the difference between a capitalist and a socialist, or a man and a woman. I mean, I'm not really sure.
Anyway, I'm thinking of trying out "Neutrogena." It sounds like a good brand, and I heard it's good for sensitive skin. I mean, I don't know it's not like I'm some Turkish soy boy.
Are you trying to come for me...
I don't come for guys, maybe @idonotconsent does
Girl blocked me and I don't know who she was. Do you have any relation with @SciencePreacher?
I never tried to use it but I don't seem to get sunburned very easily. Only had two cases in my life where I got burnt (fell asleep shirtless in the sun) and wasn't so bad.
Also I might feel like the ultimate moron if I ever develop skin cancer but I think with things like sunscreen and lotion (also never tried using lotion) and chap stick and things like that, we might grow dependent on them if we use them.
Then if there's a zombie apocalypse and we can't get them anymore and have to survive in the wilderness, now what do we do? So I always wanted to avoid using those types of things so much just in case of the zombie apocalypse. 😅
I do use soap and shampoo though and also deodorant and shaving lotion, although I don't use aftershave. I try to keep it to the bare minimum that way
Like probably it doesn't actually work this way but I think getting out in the sun without sunscreen helps my body get stronger. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger," that sort of thinking.
Same thing when it's raining even in the winter. I don't carry umbrella or wear a raincoat for same reasoning. I try to build a resistance to the cold and rain.
It is interesting. Given the fact that you are from a country where people are obsessed with being white.
Japan? Not so much these days. We do have similar to European culture the tradition in feudal times to associate the palest women with nobility and aristocracy like this:
https://4.api.artsmia.org/800/9356.jpg
Very similar to Snow White with jet black hair, the fairest skin, dark red lips, since the upper-class women spent all their time indoors.
But nowadays very popular is darker skin (was always popular on men, but now even women) like this:
upload.wikimedia.org/.../...buya_Mybestfriends.jpg
That has been case since I was a boy with people rebelling against traditional white-skinned and black-haired Japanese beauty by changing their hair to colorful ways (even wildly unnatural colors like pink or blue) as well as getting even spray tans to get the darkest skin.
they look like street hookers... amazing!
Yeah, I don't really care for kogal/gyaru fashion! But very popular among young girls now as rebellion against traditional pale skinned ideas of beauty. I think it went too far in opposite and unnatural direction but they are trying to make a rebellious statement.
Was talking about this today on a Q. A lot of Asian cultures (ex: India and Thailand) still seem to associate pale skin with beauty and nobility but I don't think that is true of Japan anymore. Even cartoons have been celebrating very dark-skinned characters since I was a boy like this:

As for me if I’m going to have fun in the sun I’m always prepared & I keep sunscreen in stock year round. I love my beach days & Monday I plan on going. Just checked my sunscreen inventory & I have three bottles of sunscreen however two of them are low & now would be a great time to buy them before spring & summer.
packaging reminded me of lubes
You are right & it does look like Motion Lotion.
also the name 🍌🍌🍌💦💦💦
I always love when I go to the beach & people pull out spray on sunscreen & I laugh because it’s usually a little windy & the jokers are getting more in the air than on themselves & you can smell that shit fifty feet away.
I am not fond of spray on sunscreens either. They just don't feel right and I always go overboard with them while applying which make me look like a glazed donut🤣🤣🤣
Sunscreen from a spray can sounds dangerous to me anyway & I never trusted or used the shit & surprise surprise I looked it up & it was recently recalled due to the chemical benzene.
My mom tells me sunscreen causes cancer. On my last trip to Florida I asked where the sunscreen was and learned that she didn't have any. Claims God wouldn't have made the sun harmful to our bodies. Whoever created sunscreen wanted to capitalize on the idea that the sun does when in reality it's the product.
Wot? Are you a little' bit of country?
I have no idea what you mean by that
During your upbringing, did you live on the countryside? You know in a rural area?
Well I didn't grow up in any big city of that's what you mean.
My father had had a similar mindset to your mum till he learnt my uncle had skin cancer.🤐🤐🤐
Probably used too much sunscreen 🤷🏻♂️
No, he didn't use any...
Are you sure? You around him 24/7 to know?
He had a summerhouse where we used to go on holidays, sooo yeah!
That doesn't answer my question. He could have put it on while in the bathroom or something or without you being around to see before going out
you know when you are out in the sun you need to renew it everytime you get wet?
From now on, I'll pronounce you as the biggest sunscreen hater on GAG!
I guess that's better than my usual

Conan is one of the most white-looking guys I have ever seen.
so you know it works
we have almost no sun in winter lol...
I use vichy face cream and body lotion 50+ spf during sunny months
Fun fact, In Turkey, we sometimes say Lehistan instead of Polonya which means Poland in English. Also, the language you guys speak is called Lehçe. "ç as in "ch" sound in cherry."
Lech was a mythical founder of Poland; maybe here lies the base for Lehistan, lol...
Yeah, that's the only sensible explanation. Also, Polish belongs to the Lekhitic sub-group of Slavic languages, so I guess that was why they called the language Lehçe since the dialects of Polish were probably not that divergent from the original language like 400 years ago🤣🤣🤣
Voted C. 🥴 The one I use is La Roche Posay Anthelios.
The one that is super runny?
Yes. 😅 The Invisible fluid.
My sister is using it right now. She seems happy overall, but the prices are going up, so she'll get the one I have too.
The sun cream works really well, but the price is a downside. Paying 25-30 euros for such a tiny bottle is just mad. I'll also be searching for a dupe soon.
Frudia offers a wide range of different sunscreens for every skin type and it is k-beauty brand so you know it is good quality.
Also their lip balm is an exact dupe for tiktok favourite laneige lip mask
I'll have to check it out and see if the brand is available here. Thank you for the recommendation! 😁
It is available in every country via international shipping I guess, but I don't know much about the shipping fee.
No, only in the summer, or when it's hot outside. Luckily, I don't really need it, as I rarely get sunburnt. I use one by Avene (it's a French brand)
Ohh, Avene is very popular in my country. Its tinted sunscreen has got viral lately.
*viral on Tiktok
I use Nivea suncream and I’m going to be using it this week tried to post pic but gag said it’s too big of a pic
ahahah. no worries! I used the matte one from nivea a couple of years ago. I remember liking it, don't know why I didn't reach for it again.
Gag these days are so strict hahaha oh the matte one is good
Nothing? I stay away from the sun, direct sunlight after 30 minutes I get sun burn if I’m going swimming, of course, I’ll put it on.
but you should... you didn't seem super pale to me, but you still look pretty white. Blond hair, blue eyes etc.🤣🤣🤣
Yes, I use sunscreen religiously every day even if I don't leave the house. I've used many brands. I'm currently using Bondi Sands but I also like the Anthelios SPF50 from La Roche Possay.
I have a moisturizer suncreen mix
Uhhh is it bad that I barely use it 🤣
even melanined people needs 15+ spf 🤣🤣
4th.,
