I like the 80s one with the small heel if we don't care much about comfort. 40s for a bit more comfort. 90s if we get rid of the elevated heel entirely. And I don't like the 2000s one much at all.

  I really like the 40s one for some balance there, assuming it's a lot more comfortable. Is there a name for that kind of heel design that doesn't separate front from back with an arch?

  Nice! I like that design a lot. The thick kind of blocky heel always seemed a bit inelegant to me like in the 70s version with the weight distributed over such a large block. But if it's flattened like in the 40s and in a minimalist way like that which doesn't look very blocky, that looks elegant and nice to me.

None of those. Tevas are the best and belong on girls and guys. Girls who own Tevas or something similar are my kinda woman.
