Hair color really doesn't matter as long as it is natural and not dyed. Every hair color can be lovely.

My girlfriends' hair colors were various shades from light blond to dark brown and everything in between.

There were two that stood out, though. One had wavy, strawberry blond hair that was striking. I loved her hair but she turned out to be a psycho.
Another had shoulder-length, bouncy-curly, light blond hair that was absolutely adorable. I wound up loving that girl.

One thing for me, personally, is that girls with light-colored hair like blond, light brown, or ginger have matching pubes that I think look lovely when they are un-trimmed. Girls with that color hair are usually glabrous (not much body hair, and what there is of it is finely textured). My girlfriends were, so their pubes were naturally limited to fluffy powder puffs on their mounds and didn't grow all the way across their abdomens, down their labia, into their groin pits and inner thighs, or up their butt cracks.

I think for me, it's maybe the rarity of it. Like just with respect to Hollywood celebrities, there are far more blondes and brunettes than natural red-heads like Julianne Moore, so I think the relative rarity of the hair color combined with the whole natural package appeal to me a lot. I also tend to get very excited when I see a very beautiful black woman in a similar way, especially here in Japan since we don't see many black women here.

On facial features, I agree, and I think mainly the way I look at it is in terms of volume. Well, for me it changes when I live in different countries. For example, when I lived in the US in places like South Carolina, Asians were extremely rare. So I liked Asian women a lot. Then when I returned to Japan, I'm surrounded by Asian women so it's women who aren't Asian that become more interesting to me.

Yes, my mother white and kind of a natural dirty blonde. The idea that I like women that look like my mother is kind of repulsive to me, but trying my best to entertain the idea, I don't think I like women who particularly my mother. She was a short woman, for example, being only 5'1. I tend to have a mild preference for ones who are a bit taller although nothing I've ever had in terms of body preferences was ever anything more than a mild one.

In particular, the most universal quality I've always liked one women are very expressive faces and body language. It aids in communication for me over the poker-faced deadpan types that I can very immediately tell how she feels based on her body language, tone of voice, etc, and makes it easier for me to feel emotionally connected as we speak to each other.
