Why do most hot guys prefer blondes?

I don't think that's necessarily true. Blondeness is a recessive trait so a much smaller of a percentage of blonde women ( and men). If the laws of supply& demand apply that alone would increase their desirability. They also have become something of a cultural icon ( see Marilyn Monroe). Also, they are often shown in "sexier" milieu e. g beaches, parties etc. I'm not sure if the last thing I'm going to mention is a personal preference or applies to our culture in general but I think that certain hair/eye/complexion combinations are very attractive. I love women with red hair -strawberry blonde preferably- but esp. with emerald eyes, blondes ( esp. platinum) with blue eyes and brunettes with a bit of Mediterranean (olive) coloring and large brown eyes

They don't. Lots of hot guys like brunettes. Blondes seem to have more confidence though, and confidence is sexy.

This stereotype is so played out. In fact it’s more of a movie script in terms of accuracy. Most hot guys like hot women. Being blonde does not give a woman the upper hand and in fact most men who prefer blondes is because they’re seen as sexually promiscuous and blonde haired women dominate the porn industry.
