How do you like well dressed men? Are they something you like? Attractive?

I've lived long enough to know the personality shines through the curb appeal. No matter what a person is wearing.

I had a twenty min casual conversation with a cool homeless man two days ago. He's been eating a meager meal off his sweater on the floor in front of the local store.
He asked me about my bike and we were off. He'd come over and was sitting on the bike rack next to me. People who had been walking a wide birth around him were then smiling and walking past as anyone would.
As I finally said I better get back with milk or I'd be in trouble, he went back to his sweater set-up. And people started walking around him again. He said "See you later cabrón." And smiled with warmth.
I laughed and told him to take care of himself. Rain was coming. This brief interaction had about eight people smile between us.

This just goes to show appearance matters. How two peoples personalities interact has affect in that perception.

Well-dressed varies in interpretations. Do I like guys in suits? Not at all. Do I like men wearing loafers? Hard pass. Do I like men taking care of their appearance and having fun with the way they dress suits or loafers? Yeah. I can appreciate if someone puts effort into their appearance, even it it's not my cup of tea. In my case, it would rather be metalheads having nice long hair that they clearly wash and brush accordingly or putting effort into their battle vests.

As a young guy, dressing well/smart definitely makes me stand out and get more attention from girls. I find the difference most obvious when traveling through airports because they have such a diverse range of styles mingling so close together.

I also find that people act the way they dress. If someone is dressed in baggy sweat pants and an oversized hoodie looking like they've just rolled out of bed, then they give off an unmotivated lazy vibe. But if someone has a well-fitting, clean, smart outfit, they look the part and act the part too. They look like they've put effort into their appearance and actually have purpose in their life which is a hell of a lot more attractive than someone who looks like he's taken 3 steps out of bed after watching anime all night.

And to the people saying clothes are just on the surface and don't say anything for someone's personality, I bet to differ.
