Why is it that women find well dressed men far more appealing than other men who are not?

What is it that women like about men who dress well? They are clean, well kept and groomed who still can dress well. So in all honesty what's wrong? Why do women like men who can dress well?

If man takes time to care for himself, he has standards. He is confident, usually charming and usually has great charisma. When you look good, you feel good and it shows. It's just attractive. It shows he likes things clean, and his life figured out.

But** some men are absolutely beautiful when just lounging in some sweats and messy hair ( love this look )

I'd say it's a matter of self respect, and respect of the female a guy is with. It's just kinda annoying when I see a couple out at a nice club or restaurant and the girl is dressed really well, nice dress or skirt/blouse and nice heels, but the guy is in old jeans, flip flops and a T shirt. Pretty embarrassing, really, but some guys just don't get it.

I don't think that's a bad thing. It means women like a man who's focused and has a job, goals, and takes care of himself. He also thinks well of himself too. How you feel in your mind shows on the outside, and a guy who keeps himself looking nice feels good about himself.

It's a sign of self respect. I mean to a lesser extent women covet guys they add to thier accessory collection. And a well dressed man makes a real nice accessory. But anyways, a guy who is well dressed respects himself. Cares what he projects to the world and so a woman theorizes if he does that he probably takes that attitude with all other facets of his life. Which is pretty safe assumption, but not always true.

I'm curious about the "dress respectfully." Is it very importsnt to you to look good in the eyes of other people? You want your man to look good in the eyes of other people?

I only ask because I don't give a flying fuck what other people think about me. I wonder what it's like to always be worried what ithers think, if that's the case.
