Why don't women look at good looking men in public (the way that they fawn over good looking men other times)?

Why don't women seem to even notice/admire/acknowledge good looking men in public? I'm talking having watched women when obviously good looking men and you can hardly see a single woman even notice him!

Now I'm aware of women saying that they're 'just not obvious about checking guys out'.. but what about all the times when women:

- will fawn at singers in a concert, or over the ladies man who's talking to all the women at the party, or the good looking guy at the club who's standing nearby, or the guy in the movies/magazine in front of them. Etc.. ?

We do, we're just much more subtle in our looking. We want to look, but not be seen looking, and sometimes in that look we try to see if they're noticing US before we let them know that we're nothing them [noticing us, lol]. Your example guys are the kind a lot of girls view as unreal, more like something inhuman and untouchable, and not exactly like 'normal people'. These guys likely are not even aware of the girls who do this, hence being able to get away with such outward behavior: Girls feel invisible and nonexistent to these men, therefore also untouchable. She can drool all she wants and these men typically won't even notice or have the slightest clue. She retains virtual anonymity.

Oh trust me we look, All the time, we often comment as well, we've just mastered the art of looking, without looking like were looking. Quick glance over just as he turns away, or standing so it looks like your just talking to a friend and you Did Not just switch positions so that you could look to, checking out someone behind you in the glass of a window is always a good one! It's actually a lot of fun! as for the whole singer, actor, model thing, its almost like those aren't real people, they're only their for the purpose of ogling, its like an unwritten rule, "look as much as you like at things you will never get to touch"

maybe they guys who we find good looking are not one you consider hand some in your catagory so you put your assumption on the guy who don't seem that good to us!

or sometimes when a guy knows he is so hot, he tries to have a special attitude like he is better than other, or so proud, and etc. I don't like that, so sometimes I try to pay less attention to such kind of guys because I don't like to give them extra credit while they already have too much of it :P

They ALL do. And that to very effectively.

We, guys, have to move head to look at someone. Women are great art of God. They can see whole 180 degree without moving their head even slightly. They can observe you from tip to toe and you won't have clue.

Women, all over the world, give signals, pretty subtle. So subtle that men don't even notice it. Afterwards, girl thinks "he is a real cold fish!" and guys think "she doesn't even bother to look at us. I think she is not interested..."

So yess, from the most underdeveloped village to most developed civilization, they all do look at men. But they haven't and can't get caught. :-)

Females do look at guys...they look, but somehow usually do a good job at not bring attention to themselves. As in, they'll look at you when you aren't looking at THEM, so they don't get "spotted".

I don't think it's a factor of shyness. I think it's a factor of them liking to be "hunted" by the "hunters", so to speak.

You sound confused. Singers are singers. It's almost a must to fawn and scream for them. Ladies man got game. Club environment is different than everyday environment. The guy in the movies and magazines is an actor. We have the right to drool over hot actors and models because they're [almost] perfect looking.

Did some girl not notice you like how the rest of the pack notices you? It's okay, don't dwell on this. Maybe she was too shy to check you out and make it obvious. Or maybe you're not her type. Or there are a lot of maybes. Bottom line is women notice good looking men in public.

Trust me I look, but when the guy is passing I am not going to fawn out loud about him in front of friends or him..it's creepy.

Behind his back I might mouth "Oh my God" or make a face to a friend ;)

But a lot of times I get shy if they are hot..and I look but don't flirt or smile. (Even though I myself am attractive). I'm SURE girls notice you and might think about you later.

Only when it is socially acceptable do we fawn over men... It would seem un-lady like for us to just be " Damn! your one fine piece of meat!" that is what men do... very immature men that is... Women are the choosers in society so we take a look and decide wither we like what we see but discreetly when your not paying attention like birds when the male birds show off kinda like that...

Some do, a majority won't. To be honest most women prefer to be the one fawned over lol. Plus you mostly hear guys talking about the thrill of the chase, what chase is there if you already know you have her. Plus the guys you described as being fawned over by women are most likely alpha males who usually receive attention because of their looks or popularity, which realistically every man will not have.
