I always find fashion models and Hollywood stars to be unattractive cause they have an impersonal and heavily regulated face that lacks spontaneity and self-expression. Most also have a placid, tough or aggressive look that I find unaesthetic and uninspired. In the modern era I'd say Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Scarlett Johansson, Sandra Bullock, Ewan McGregor, Mel Gibson, Drew Barrymore and even Samuel L Jackson, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone have serious depth to their acting - there's loads more but time and space limit me.

From the Classic/Golden Age consider John Wayne (far more than just a cowboy), Kirk Douglas, Robert Redford, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Robert Mitchum, Gary Cooper, Fred Astaire, Kenneth Moore and Dick Van Dyke

The others like Clint Eastwood, Lee van Cleef, and guys like the cast of Star Trek and Star Wars get overlooked because one role was so very dominant but they have/had incredible talent.
