I love thongs. I find them to be super comfy. For me, any underwear ends up going up there. With a thong it’s a thin strap designed to go there. They are a lot more comfy than a pair of full butt undies ending up there.

I know some women find them very comfortable and prefer to wear them.
For others it depends on whether it's a more broad thing or a simple string.

And then there's those like me, who really don't like wearing them.

Before my BR six years ago I was actually having mine custom made, and they were by far the most comfortable and supportive you could ever imagine possible... However, like all things they did come at a huge considerable cost!

Nowadays I do seem able to purchase off the self, with some degree of luck as well as judgement.

Maybe it's just me, for I have found M&S (Marks and Spencer) do have a fairly substantial range in most Band/Cup sizes which I must confess I've found both extremely comfortable and very supportive.

Other than that it's more your branded names such as Bravissimo, Miss Mary (stay fresh) and Fantasie.

I used to like some of the Playtex range, but feel that they have somehow outpriced themselves these days.

I’ve found Bravissimo to be pretty good compared to others as well. I will look at Marks and Spencer. I am a 34F in most brands although some vary slightly.

Before my BR I was a most hideous and completely out of proportion 34KK... I'm now a very happy, satisfied and extremely more healthy 34D/DD.

And I'm more than sure that the vast majority of women have at some point had this sheer and utter frustration, in the sometimes ridiculous variation in what should be quite simple stock bra sizes... I must add that I am not wholly and solely convinced with "sister sizes".

I love running and sports bras are a whole other story that drives me nuts

Obviously due to my medical condition it was virtually impossible for me to participate in most sports, so my need for sports bras wasn't a huge necessity... Although in fairness I did, and still do have a few in my bra drawer.
