When you see a girl in a button up shirt with a collar, would you think she's a tomboy or gay or neither assumption?

About 45k years ago the expression don't judge a book by its cover was created for this exact purpose. Lol.
(This following below is supposed to be a joke and not sarcastic but I have to say it because if you're like wtf old man I know what a book is, then I guess it's not a good joke but here's my best shot at having fun with gen z and me pretending to be helpful)
Ok so for Gen Z that expression may be dated and you're like I don't get it. In today's terms it's don't just an iPhone by its case.
Oh man this is the worst thing I've ever thought was funny. In my head this killed but reading it... it's crap. I'm leaving it. I deserve ridicule hahaha.
And I fucked it up judge an iPhone*. Damn it! I'm the worst
Everyone is different and everyone is an individual who is allowed to do whatever they want as long they aren’t harming others.
If a guy wants to wear a bright pink shirt and a woman wants to wear a collared ‘masculine’ top then who gives a shit. You could ask why they put that on in a positive tone and they’ll explain it in great detail, other than that leave them be.
it’s the way the person looks individually. Most who are gay or tomboyish you can tell just by looking at them and someone else could be wearing the same thing and not look like that. Its o my a very small percent that doesn’t “look” that way and are.
So it doesn’t matter if you wear that or not , for the most part people can tell if you are or not gay or just tomboyish
I wouldn't assume shit. I wouldn't think of anything at all tbh. Not even as a fleeting thought.

In the example you used, she does look more tomboyish. Girls can look great in button up dress shirts and blouses if worn properly and the fit is good, like this girl.
See with that collar, it's not a choking hazard / no circulation hazard
*Women 👠
Thank you, I'm a Pilot so it's all in keeping with the dress code, which states "for females, White button down shirt/blouse with at least 1/2 sleeve length, Black pants or skirt, Black shoes". It mentions nothing about undergarments, skirt length or heels, so I'm complying with policy as well as being comfortable and sexy, lol.
Lol, I do a lot of 3-6 passenger charter flights in small jets and I do get a lot of requests from repeat customers, all of them male for some strange reason. If I'm feeling a bit naughty I'll wear a blouse with no chest pockets just like the girl in the pic, otherwise I'll have the pockets to keep my "girls" more covered, since I rarely wear a bra. I'll always send my boyfriend a selfie or two, it brightens up his day.
Lucky boyfriend haha
Lol, lucky me!! I did the "naughty" version today, currently in line for departure from Dallas, my flight down to Ft. Lauderdale should get me in there before 11PM if I can depart in the next 10 minutes or so. Unfortunately my outfit will be wasted tonight, my boyfriend won. t be here until Friday, but I'll save the naughtiness for him until then. I did shoot him a few pics though, lol!
Long day, but all done now. I flew a 6 passenger HondaJet today with 5 passengers, all corporate guys that I've had before, they had a business meeting in Dallas, so I had a few hours of free time there. The blouse is a bit thin, but it's all good and the guys couldn't seem to decide whether to focus on my long legs with the short miniskirt or the White blouse with my totally free breasts, but it was all good, I enjoyed the day. I'll have to do that more often, it really turned me on and my guy was a bit "uncomfortable" after I sent him the pics, I'm sure he needed his lunch break for things other than lunch, lol.
When I see that on a woman, it's because my wife can't be bothered to search her wardrobe for something, so she wears my shirt..
I don't mind though, because she looks better in them than I do!
She is wearing a man's shirt as the buttons are on the right. So I grant that implies lesbianism.
But woman do buy men's clothing because it is better made. Also wearing male clothing can enhance the femininity of a woman. It is not as if blouses aren't buttoned up without collars either.
I really don't see the correlation between the two, so... nope
Cookie I voted neither assumption. I think it's a classy yet cute look.
I think she looks nice. It's not a shirt I would wear personally, unless work or an event had a dress code. I've seen binary, straight, and lesbians wear that type of style. You can't make an accurate sexual orientation from a shirt.
... also wouldn't assume she's a tomboy.
I think it's mainstream enough that I wouldn't even take note of it to be honest.
It probably means she has good fashion sense. 😏
Neither... I think it is a great look for a woman or girl
It's just a style she likes not an indication of sexual orientation.
Now if she walked in wearing a strap on then I'm going to at least guess she like playing with girls!
Neither, I don’t get the question, there is nothing to do with clothing and how a person is.
People have different preferences of clothing. To be honest, it's better than walking around as naked.
in duties?
Hard to say. I know how I voted 👀👁️👁️👀 its a bit odd for any man or woman or X to wear that collar so up tight to the top. Choking hazard scares lol 🥶😆
A button-up shirt is not inherently masculine. You know how many button ups are just called blouses?
No, it honestly looks like high fashion. Women on the runway dress like that
i would wear a miniskirt with that and nobody would think that
What if it's her office dresscode or just her style? Wouldn't assume anything. I don"t associate Collar button-ups with tomboys also
Honestly I don't give a s*** because it's none of my business
I would hope she isn't wearing a bra underneath so I might get a glimpse of her pokies, but that's only because I am a typical pervy guy...
That is really common. Why would anyone assume anything unusual about it?
Button up shirt, slacks and high heels looks like a well dressed woman in my world.
I don't assume anything when I see a woman in a button down shirt
depends on the occasion. Why is she dressed that way: for work, to go out, etc
Its kind of boring look for me, sometimes in official attire its good otherwise i dont find it attractive.
Professional honestly
Fashion. depends too if they really trying to look like man.
I don't assume anything.
I personally love the look
I would never assume anything.
Straight tomboy
It’s her style that’s what I see.
Nope it's normal
I don't think so no
