It depends on the face; some guys look great, other guys it detracts from their look.

On my late spouse, attraction didn't click for me until he grew a stubbled beard (lame, I know). It took him from nice guy to outdoorsman and I was smitten with it. I always preferred it on him.

But it doesn't work for every guy. I think Henry Cavill looks terrible with facial hair pretty much without exception and we all know he is a handsome dude. I also don't think Theo James or Robert Pattinson look good with facial hair. I personally think James is a solid ten and Pattinson scored above Cavill on the golden ratio, but the beards drop them down several points as far as the face goes.

I think on guys who have well-proportioned faces, a beard throws the proportions off. For some guys, the extra width is needed to bring their face into balance and distinguish their jawline, so it works great. So, mainly it depends on the face.

All that to say, I have never seen a single man whose look was improved by a full beard. All the others can be played around with, but Duck Dynasty beards are a 100% no from me.

Any of the first few, mostly depends on what looks good on a dude, and what he prefers honestly. Full beards however, rarely look good in my opinion and are usually itchy/icky. (Food in beard is the biggest effing turn-off I swear 😭)

Varies between the clean shave and a 3-day shave. Depends on occasion too- if Im going to something formal then clean shaven. If casual, I like the 3-day/10-day facial hair because I’d look well groomed and suits my face shape and feels great.


Too long of a facial bothers me and Id be having some slight itches and bothers my lips at times so I just rather not deal with that. Some guys could pull it off and really embrace a full beard which look great but I just choose what I could embrace and feel my best

Clean shaven. All over. Since I developed a bald spot 25 years ago hair appeared on my back. Girls are like YUCK. I don't blame them. The thinner I became on top the more grew on my back. The day after my 50th birthday I woke to near full bald on top and hair all on my back, shoulders and upper arms. It's like a, kicked when they are down. I wish I was as hairless as a hairless Chihuahua. That'd show me.

To be fair manscaping is common nowadays. I shave my chest and a little hair from my back sometimes when I see some hairs

Depends on the guy’s face and the course was of the facial hair. Clean shaven is nice, but 5 o’clock shadow (on guys with thick/coarse facial hair) or a 3-day stubble (on guys with finer facial hair) can be very masculine and appealing.

I don't like beards. Shadows and scruff are lovely. I wouldn't dissuade anyone else their own likes though.

You're 19. That'll change. Girls start to like facial hair in their 20s, but before that they prefer the baby skin clean look.

I've noticed that young girls and Asians tend to not like facial hair. You're young. Maybe in a couple of years your taste might develop into liking facial hair. Unless you're Asian in which case I doubt it ever will.

Depends on the guys face. Like Ben Affleck looks good anyway lol If the guy is ugly I prefer a full beard, if he is handsome he can do no shave or 3 day since some stubble looks manly lol.

My missus likes me with a 5 o'clock shadow, so I keep my stubble trimmed. Other times though I'll remove the lot because I prefer no stubble at all.

Update:- I prefer clean shaven because I like the feeling of cool air against my face, and also the thought of everything I eat possibly having hairs on it puts me right off.

honestly depends on face. Most men looks better with clean face but some looks better with beards or mustache
