When I was at my old job there were girls who looked way better than me and girls who looked worse than me. It's not realistic to compare yourself to others when the diversity of people you meet is so broad. it's not like a university class where variations in skill and intelligence are minor and your behaviour could significantly change your position in the social ladder.
