1 yDepends on who’s standards…
Women and advertisers tend to promote skinny blonde’s with curves but that has changed dramatically and in some cases in the name of diversity they have promoted unhealthy behaviors in anorexia to Obesity.
While men tend to be attracted to women that have some meat more so on the athletic side in my opinion.
Obviously this isn’t everyone. But if you’re ultimately wandering how you stack up to any beauty standards remember that strong is beautiful mentally and physically so take care of yourself eat right workout read books watch documentaries etc.
just seek self improvement not perfection.10 Reply

1 yDepends if you're asking what the standards in media is or if you're asking what the people in the country actually like. I live in the US and the media says being fat and mentally ill is sexy but the vast majority or people are attracted to fit and mentally healthy people.

1 yI find white guys like Asian girls who have faces that look like they have attitude or power. They don't go for the sweet and innocent look that most Chinese guys go for. When it comes to white girls, it seems like physical fitness is the only standard that is consistent in Canada. Other things like facial beauty don't seem to be a big deal.

In the U. S., beauty standards are pretty diverse and can vary a lot depending on personal and cultural influences. Generally, there's a focus on individuality and self-expression, so you might see people embracing different styles, from natural looks to more glamorous, makeup-heavy ones. Fitness and a healthy lifestyle are often emphasized, with glowing skin and fit bodies frequently showcased.
In Spain, beauty standards often lean towards a more classic and natural look. Think of healthy, glowing skin, and a balanced approach to beauty. There's a lot of appreciation for timeless styles and elegance, with an emphasis on taking care of one's appearance in a subtle and sophisticated way.
Ultimately, beauty is subjective, and the most important thing is finding what makes you feel confident and happy! 💃✨11 Reply

702 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Beauty standards everywhere are a little messed up rn. But back home the standard is curvy-fit, classical beauty, nothing over-the-top. It's almost the opposite of the overdone styles of the runway...

Oh , i got it... You mean elegant beauty.
I don't think there's a set beauty standard in the US. Tastes are pretty diverse here. But I guess we could say that on average, a healthy weight and well groomed.

Nice to hear , that they dont have any fixed or narrow beauty standard.
1 yHealthy and fit, looks like they took a bath.
Our media wants us dudes to get with big fat tatted up chicks that look like they smell though. I know I don't want that shit... don't know any guys that want that shit irl either. Only here on the internet have I met plapjacks that claim they want that.

Yuck
Having a fat butt, large hip. Even being fat shapeless is okay, the ladies guts are like they pregnant. Having clean pedicure and manicure. Dress sexy, tight clothes, be cool but with character, educated and not Getto.

1 yThere are so many regions and cultures in the U. S. that it would be impossible to say one thing is the beauty standard.

Oh okay
I honestly have no idea. The USA is very diverse and opinions on what is beautiful very from person to person. I see opinions on both ends of all the spectrums. Some people love muscles. Some people seem disgusted by muscles. Some people love fat. Others hate it. It's the same with body hair, hair length, fashion etc. Everything is all over the place. So there might not actually be a beauty standard here.
