@Kayla45 Personally I think the basic make up is the best.. just to smooth the looks a bit but to keep it simple and kinda natural looking. I never understood why girls at weddings and stuff put soooo much make up on.. it's like they're trying to look as beautiful as they can be on that day but they do the exact opposite they don't understand that it's not the 2 ton make up you're putting on that makes you beautiful, it's the face you got and the make-up's job is just to make your best features pop a little but it's your natural beauty that does the trick not that full on make up mask that nobody can even recognize you. It's kinda like those girls who are all filled up with Botox and extreme surgeries that makes them look like a doll or something.. for me it's a complete turn off (No offense). It's like their insecurities about their looks make them ruin their looks even more.. it sucks how society's definition of beauty gets to all these young girls and make them believe they need fixing and adjustments when they're looking perfectly fine and even beautiful:/
It enhances for sure. But the subtle, "no makeup" makeup look is best. It can make her glow and look fresh. The idea is to even out her skin tones, accentuate her eyes, and make her lips look moist and tender. Tasteful makeup is an art form. It enhances but doesn't conceal her looks. Guys have no idea what skill it takes to look natural but sensational.
But bad makeup is horrible. I HATE big, fake-looking eye lashes; thick eyeliner, especially points at the corners of the eyes; overly sculpted eye brows; black eye lashes, eye liner and eyebrows when she has light-colored hair; obvious eye shadow; gaudy lipstick and especially lip liner.
A soft, natural lip color usually looks best, but red can look good.
It probably depends on the person and how much they use. I know this week I went to a social event to meet people, so I painted my nails before I got dressed nicely. Then I just put on lip gloss once I was done. I didn't do anything else because I didn't think it was needed.
It's sad for us girls. Esp us older ones lol. Make up helps 100% but obviously we would all love the "natural" beauty that guys want us to have!! ☹️
@ale2003 some men don't like too much. Or any. But that's OK. There's enough different types of people in the world to find one who likes a person for how they are.
I just don't like when my mascara runs after getting steamy passionate and there we are talking and cuddling and I'm thinking I still look sexy and then go bathroom and I'm panda eyes and think nooooo... why didn't the guy say lol. So embarrassing! 😄🙈😂

It depends on how much you use. I know this girl, Rhonda. She used to be DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! She looked a lot like Suzanne Sommers i didn't see her for about 10 years and then she showed up at one our gigs just long enough to make an appearance. she twas there just before we went back on stage and about 2 or 3 songs later, she left! But, this time, she had LOADS of the black shit around her eyes!! One one hand, she was still quite pretty but, on the other, she looked like raccoon!! Like, after putting it on for about 15 seconds, the fashion police should've burst into her room and said, PUT THE MASCARA DOWN!! STEP AWAY FROM THE MIRROR AND NOBODY WILL GET HURT!!
From my POV, SOME make-up is okay and CAN make you look prettier but, some women just go overboard and take it too far!! My ex-fiance only ever wore lipstick and she didn't even need that! She was just gorgeous the way she was!
The way you look in your pix is perfectly fine. I'm assuming you aren't wearing any make-up or very little.
One of the most sweetest things my boyfriend said to me was, why do you spend so much time putting all that junk on your face? You don't need it, I prefer you without it.. let's get going. Lmao.
At times, especially when we shower he tells me I'm so beautiful without all that stuff on my face
I voted in between. Some chicks do it right and the word 'enhance' is how I would describe it... or maybe the word 'accentuate'. They will basically just make something like their eyes stand out.
Other chicks overdo it though and they look like fucking clowns that just rolled out of a tiny car that holds like 12 of them at the same time and do circus tricks. Like those chicks with neon-red lips, cotton candy-colored eyes, and cheeks that looks like they just got out of a slap fight... just why in the fuck do they even try? I always assume their real face looks like hammered dog shit underneath those layers of oil mixed with powders.
It conceals it. Nothing less, nothing more. Whatever effect is achieved through makeup, it's never an actual, natural beauty, but a mere, hollow mask. Now, if You have to wear masks, it kind of implies You are somewhat lacking in looks, even though it's not always true - I've seen enough pretty girls abusing makeup to know it for sure.
If you're naturally beautiful, then makeup only takes away from your beauty. But the less physically attractive you are, the more you'd likely benefit from a bit. When it comes to naturally beautiful girls, a little eyeliner is really all they benefit from to emphasize on their eyes.
In between.
If it is due to a skin irritation, an auto immune disease, personal problem, pimples, etc. then I’d say enhances her confidence and beauty 10x.
If she is naturally beautiful and has a beautiful face underneath that makeup then I think detracts.
All depends on everything.
If the make-up has been applied in moderation, the bring out the best characteristics of a female face, then make-up most certainly enhances beauty.
If applied too much... make-up of course detracts; make-up can, will, create a fake look.
Makeup is generally enhancing and most men who say they don't like makeup just mean they prefer moderate amounts and don't know what no makeup looks like. I like makeup looks, it also allows the girl to potentially get more variety in her looks too depending how she handles it. oddly specific example sometimes I particularly like the look of girls having eyeliner with non-black colors e. g red, purple, etc.
if done right... of course it will enhance a certain kind of look and beauty, which is an added one... to a more natural beauty
Makeup is a scam. The more you wear it, the more you need it psychologically. The longer you wear it, the less air, sun and the more toxins your skin gets which will cause it to age faster. People just don't realize that there are completely natural ways to reverse the years.
Makeup is a temporary improvement in beauty. But a woman's overall beauty is how she looks and feels without makeup.
A little makeup enhances, a lot of makeup detracts. I'm legit grossed out by chicks covered in makeup. It's some kind of instinct of "this isn't a real person" or something.
If done right, lightly applied it can highlight the best features of her face. Like her eyes. I don’t like heavy makeup.
For me, and by looking at women, On the positive side, it's enhancing, on the negative side, it's detracts, and if you're not sure or you don't what you're doing, it's between.
I believe if done right it can enhance a women's beauty. However it is often gone overboard with and you can barely tell that girls are the same person with and without the makeup on them.
It is mostly age-related but, even at my age a little makeup is good.
I don't like makeup. I'd rather see what people actually look like, not a mask.
I guess it depends what it is, how much of it and how it's used
For most women, light makeup enhances their appearance. The problem is that so many women wear waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much makeup these days and end up looking fake, which is worse than no makeup at all.
A little bit of makeup can enhance a woman's beauty. Too much of it detracts from it. If a woman has to wear makeup less is best
I can't vote. Some women use it well, other completely ruin themselves with it.
A little of course here and there for a particular outfit or occasion, sure, but for the most part, I get disappointed whenever I can actually see the makeup, oh natural is always best.
It can enhance if done properly. It detracts when it makes her look like a different person.
Some makeup enhances feminine beauty;too much detracts from it.
it enhances and then there are those who use it to create beauty
It enhances it in an unhealthy way like how junk/processed foods are flavored.
men know nothing about make up
when it comes to make-up: less is more
Me personally I prefer all natural
