Am I being too cautious? What do I do?

Just had my belly button pierced, my parents tell me that i need to keep moving the bar but from what i hve read online i shouldn't. What do i do? Its my first body piercing so im struggling a little. I may just be paranoid and overly worried.

Soak it in salt water twice a day. Moving it around a little to keep it clean worked for me
