Anyone else used to not like tattoos at first, but then grew to really like them?

At first I didn't really like tattoos due to my parents being really religious/conservative/traditional/whatever you wanna call it, and constantly bad mouthing tattoos, but once I grew up and learned to think on my own more I grew to really like tattoos.

What I like most about tattoos are how they enhance certain features of the body. Like the photo above, the woman on the left has tattoos that are really high on her thighs, thus putting a lot of emphasis on her thighs, and where her thighs might lead to (heh-heh). She's already hot as hell but the thigh tats make her more attractive by a thousand!

In all seriousness though tattoos just look nice. That's all there is to it.

Nope. They look stupid, and that's coming from a guy who's always been a talent artist, who was a graffiti artist for years, who had friends from my teenage years who use to bomb trains who became tattoo artists. I've made all sorts of designs, cartoons, etc. that people tell me they would get tattooed on them or they'd wear it on a t-shirt over the years, but tattoos are just dumb and ugly... I remember in college I had to take an art appreciation class and give a couple speeches on different fields of art and I did one on the history of tattoo art. So it's not like I haven't looked into the ideas for what they are... My parents were not all that religious, neither for or against religion. Basically you have a library card, go read religion and philosophy and if anything sticks then it sticks. So nobody influenced me to dislike them. I can't believe people volunteer to vandalize their own body and pay for it. Crazy.

Speaking of religions, some utilize tatoos in a way. I do see a point in tattoos in relationships to mark your territory as well. Maybe if you focus on the tattoo every time you coom, throw hypnotic binaural beaters on top, you'll train yourself to release oxytocin every time you see the tattoo and thus form a stronger bond with your partner.

There's a difference between beautiful appearances and things that are sexually arousing.

Most people would call things like peacock's tail beautiful, but nobody wants to fuck peacocks.

Whereas vaginas are often not so nice to stare at, but they trigger something in you to start breeding. And this is what's also going on with the tattoos you speak of.

So now imagine these same women wore pants. The tattoos on their upper bodies would only put you off.

To say that the tattoos put you off might be an exaggeration, but the boner gets relatively killed when skin gets concealed by tattoos. Aren't we wired to get aroused from female nudity, obviously. Tatoos are like permanent clothes...
