My lady called me handsome today.

If that’s cheating and it can’t be a preordained thing like that and just at random, I feel like the last time I was exposed more than in passing to female humanity in real life that’s not my girlfriend or a relative was pre-pandemic, lmao. Once in a while I answer a question on here and it makes me think and realize how abnormal my life has gotten and how silo’d I am from the majority of humanity😂

Like this has me counting now…. I have SIX women I know in my real life, total, who I interact with with any sort of regularity, excluding cashiers from businesses I frequent, haha. Seven if you count one I only see on holidays. All of them are my girlfriend or people related to she or I. Wow😂😂😂 The rest of the time I’m fishing alone, working out alone, practicing hockey alone, or playing hockey and just hanging out with some dudes from that long enough for a beer afterwards. I’m so busy, yet I feel like I know very few people, haha, which is so different than how it was when I worked in bars.

Anyway, all that is an excuse for why it’s been like six years, probably😅 I was walking through a parking lot of a supermarket I had a sales account with at my last job, and a young woman in a car called out “excuse me!” So I jogged over and asked what’s up, and she was like “hi, I just wanted to say hi and say you’re very handsome.” She could’ve got it in another scenario, but I wasn’t single, so I had to politely decline her. But I’m still flying off of the ego boost, half a decade later😂😂😂 I’m telling you, I could pull when I didn’t have my hair all stupid, I swear, lmfao

cute... I get called cute often, but it's more about the way I am, or certain things that I do and some girls find it "cute" and the last time happened some days ago, when I went to pick my niece's to school, and some school moms still ask if she's my daughter... lol

sexy... can be similar too, I hear it more often about the way I am "that's sexy..." more than I hear "you're sexy" but if I am working around the house, or out on the fields doing sports, that's when I would hear the "hey sexy" stuff, apparently... sweaty bodies can be quite popular

pretty, no... I'm not the "pretty boy model" type so I don't get that one, but I usually get the "pretty eyes" or the "pretty smile" comment, and this is the most common, random compliment out on the streets or at Costco... but "handsome" or "attractive" this one happens when I've been meeting someone a bit better and after some days, that's when they feel the need to say it, lol... which happened around the start of 2024

today, we had a mob coding session in the office, and our sysop said I look cute when I'm focused on solving problems... when curled up on my chair... that I look dangerously cute :D

and yesterday, when I was running, a guy I was seeing from time to time running a similar route approached me and said I'm the prettiest of running girls :D

some time ago someone said that my laugh is cute :D

but I liked this words the best "I'm not sure what is more sexy about you - your sharp mind or this tiny body" :D

but it's not all so sweet of course :D

to keep a balance, some guy called me stubborn, because I didn't want to do more work, so he could do less and the same guy called me uncooperative because he couldn't convince me to his idea :D

A week ago, I cut my hair short and my friends said, your short hair looks good because there is a change in it.

Earlier, 6 months ago, I shaved my beard completely and then my school friends complimented me saying that my look hasn't changed at all since school days.

But they were all boys.

A few years ago, my older cousin complimented me seeing me in a shirt. She said that you look better when you wear a shirt and jeans instead of a T-shirt and track pants.

In my school days, a girl called me good-looking but she also said that I was a bit fat. I should slim down.
