The idea that people with red hair have no souls is a harmful and untrue stereotype. Throughout history, people with red hair have been the subject of many myths and superstitions, including:
Vampires
In Greek mythology, redheads were thought to turn into vampires after death. In the Middle Ages, red hair and green eyes were thought to be signs of witchcraft, vampirism, or werewolves.
The Devil
In the Middle Ages, red was considered the color of the Devil.
Witches
During the Spanish Inquisition, people with red hair were thought to have stolen fire from hell and were burned as witches.
Cats
In Munster, Ireland, there was a superstition that if a man saw a red-haired woman on his way to work, he would be unable to accomplish anything that day.
Pigs
Another superstition was that redheads were born with a pig under their bed.
People with red hair have also faced prejudice and discrimination for thousands of years. This may be due to the relative rarity of red hair, as well as cultural attitudes and mythology.
Red hair is caused by a recessive gene called MC1R, which is located on chromosome 16. This gene provides the code for a protein that determines the type of melanin produced.

I can't associate hair color with anything personality based, it would be like trusting astrology, I can't afford going this road lol. In Europe, the source of this cliché seems to date back to medieval fears, think witches, black magic, succubus, edgy Christians, things along those lines. I suppose this stereotype survived in a more acceptable form, to become "hot temper" instead of the prior "demonic" aspect?

No idea, but growing up in England, the few red-haired people at school—I say few” because there weren't many—often got bullied and called ginger nuts or devils spawn. This was the early to mid-2000s.

To the point. Is has to do with the Church, The ancient Romans and the English.

The church wanted to distance itself as much from Judaism as possible. So they needed something to hate. Ancient germanic and Celtic gods have red hair. And the church wanted to destroy those religions as much as they could. And The Celtic tribes and Germanic tribes (which had a significant number of Redheads) kicked the Romans and later the English out of their countries several times. Aka Independence of the Republic of Ireland for example.

It was all mixed into on stereotype. Because the Rroman-catholic Church... well sits in Rome.

So over the centuries Redheads were therefore portrait as the villains everywhere and that image sticks to this day.

Well, in my experience, they are.

For example, there used to be a young lady here (she left around August 2022) who was a redhead and rather attractive. But she was born and raised in the Los Angeles so maybe that's why she was a bit crazy. I miss her though.

That said, we know that gingers have no souls.

I tell you my story when I encountered a redhead not long ago. She was not that atractive, but a shortstak. She was supper inteligent and I was drawn to her, we understood each other quite well and had lots in comon, I made her laugh easily and there were all those signs of atraction. But when I had asked to make it more serious to get out to a date she refused and wanted nothing to do with me anymore.

I honestly had no idea what the hell happened there and thought she had to be crazy in some way, to not want a relationship with someone who she connects so well with.

Red Hairs Isn't normal human..

Science says it comes from mutation making hairs red..

However Mythology says, Red Hairs came from Inter breeding of Humans with Red Hair Giants.. also known as Cannibal Giants.. it's a species that Went Extinct a while back, but Left it's Genetic Mark in Inter breeding offspring..

It's instinctive for Humans to Perceive not Human Traits in fellow humans as a Threat and Treat them as such.

Red heads aren't born Crazy, but growing up facing that Treatment from fellow humans, turn them into a crazy person!..

My best friend is a red head, and when I first met her she was a bit on the crazy side. Age has mellowed her a bit, but we definitely still have a bit of crazy fun when we get together. That being said, I think redheads might just take advantage of the stereotype as an excuse to let loose a bit more than they otherwise would.

Actually I have been "somewhat" dating a redhead lady lately. We've only been on about 5 casual dates and probably nothing serious will evolve from it. She has said that she can be hot tempered in some circumstances, although I have not seen this in her.

I don't know about the stereotypes. I just know that- more often than not- when others in our family have dealt with certain individual redheads, more than an average number of problems surfaced.

It could be that some people are naturally more flamboyant types and they might be more likely to change their hail color to match their already embedded attitudes? who knows.
