My preference is really what fits that particular face. I am not a fan of super long hair on guys, though. I've never seen a guy who could pull it off and still look masculine, except possibly Jason Momoa. So I'd say not super short (military) or overly long (past shoulder length).

Guys with different facial structures need different hair styles to look their best. A strong facial structure (which I am starting to realize is pretty uncommon, based on dating apps), can pull off both long and short styles well. But baby faces need a style that deemphasizes the roundness, narrow faces need a style that draws attention away from the narrowness, etc. It's worth it to try a few different styles to figure out what fits the face best.

Also, guys should not underestimate the power of a trim beard, especially on a narrower jawline. I've seen a guy go from blah to wow simply by growing a trim beard. It can add definition and structure to certain faces, I've noticed the best results on narrower jawlines, though. Guys with good jaw structure don't generally benefit from beards because it throws the proportions off.

Hmmm... like with most things, it depends. I guess it also depends on how long and/or how short we're talking. Long as in past the butt length makes me question how much upkeep it takes, because hair that long must be hard to constantly maintain clean unless you wash it like 20 times a day. Not to mention when the strands fall and start to get on stuff. But short as in buzzcut or bald is also not great. Like short is fine but not so short that I can see the skin of the head.

All in all though I guess I am somewhat leaning towards longer hair. Probably because society's gender roles made me associate long with feminine. But yeah.

I'm not a fan of super long hair. It gets in the way and must be a pain to care for.
Bottom of her shoulder blades is plenty long enough.
But I like some shorter styles. They can frame her face and look unique. They can look bouncy and sporty.

For me honestly, long will always be best. If braids are added, it always enhances the aesthetic (I know it's not an every day thing). Although medium length curly bobs can look great too.

In a guy, I like shorter hair and a well groomed facial hair. That is what my boyfriend has. He like women with longer hair. Mine was down to the bottom of my back, but I did cut it so that it is in the middle of my back.

Longer is definitely better, but not TOO long. Somewhere between shoulder length and mid to lower back is great. Short hair on a woman is unappealing. There are very few women who can pull off a short hairstyle and still look attractive.

Long flowing hair on a lady looks amazing, short hair is good on some, i have shoulder length hair as well, now you take a lady in a beautiful sleeveless top or dress with long hair flowing over her bare shoulders, how can that not turn you on, i worked with a lady and every time she wore a sleeveless top she wore her hair down just to get me horny.
