I got mine from my mom.
Well, my mum had a big influence on my style, but I think also I always knew what suited me. As a really slim, beautiful woman, I used to wear tight dresses, pants and skirts and close fitting tops. Now that I’ve gained thirty kilos on medication that I must take to stay well, I’m just quite pretty and no longer slim, more of an apple shape now, so I just tend to go more for looser clothes, in darker colours.

I think my style is a mix of influences. My mom definitely played a big role, giving me an appreciation for timeless elegance with a touch of flair. I also draw inspiration from the vibrant colors and designs of Spanish fashion, along with staying tuned to current trends. It's all about blending the best of both worlds! 😊

10 moHmmm…it’s developed over the (many😂) years, I guess. I adapt a little as trends and my observable age change. I’ve always liked clothes and dressing well since I was young. It used to just be mimicking styles I’d see celebrities I liked wearing, or just people I’d see around whose style caught my eye.
I don’t think my style is anything crazy, it’s pretty traditional, and usually casual, I just aim to be well put-together.
I have a good eye for color coordination I think, and when it comes to various clothing pieces or accessories, I think I also just know “stylish” when I see it, and more importantly, see what ISN’T and avoid it.
I know how to mix patterns and colors, and how to contrast fabrics. And just looking around real life, or with minimal effort on the internet, I can see various looks and combinations and even just items I never knew were a thing, haha.
Shit, I was watching the old movie Animal House from the late 70s, and one kid was wearing a high school letterman CARDIGAN, not the jacket we usually see. That’s a huge faux pas in college either way, high school is over lmao, but I digress. Anyway, I found a vintage one online, it’s in great shape, and I probably get more compliments on it than anything else I own. A guy was yelling to me from his car trying to buy it off my back one night😂

I love that sweater, and I know I’ll NEVER see anyone else out wearing one. And it’s not like a letterman JACKET, which I love the look of, but it looks like you’re a washed up high school hero who can’t let go😂 The sweater gives that look but no one will mistake it for my own.
Anyway, I don’t want to go too long on it, I was about to get started on shoes and sneakers and how they’re EVERYTHING to your outfit, but that’s not what the question was, lmao. But I’d say the answer to where I get it is kind of just “around” and “innately.” Most men have pretty bad style, respectfully, so there’s not always a lot of real-life material if you don’t frequent Manhattan or Hollywood, but there are men’s style magazines and now websites/channels that you can draw inspiration from👍👍

10 moI look at colours, material, cost, and trusted traditions.
For example, I tried buying a sweater from my alma mater university and it was beautiful but far too hot for more body and made me uncomfortable.
I know if I buy from a store I usually shop at, the clothes will be the same thickness they always are, neither too hot, nor too cold. And the material will be easy to wash if it is a traditional store, since they understand convenience is what gets customers to return to their store for more chances to buy things.
I tend to prefer black pants cause I feel they are more feminine and fit better with everything, while I prefer bright coloured sweaters or shirts because I think it matches my happy personality

10 moI believe a style is ever evolving and changing, but I like vintage I like colors I get it from self expression and what would just go with certain things to textures and colors I like the fashion shows and those stand out items in pieces and boutiques and yeah, I’m still a minimalist so I don’t like too muchthat will keep the same pieces all the time
10 ReplyPartly from mom, partly from my friends, partly from magazines and partly from my own. I guess most girls will learn from others they live close to.

10 moMy cousin, i was always given hand me downs. People could tell i was dressing way more attractive and cool than who I am. Trying to end gay bullying I chose to dress like a bum, now nobody judges because I am exactly where I belong
