So I think that phrase is absolutely right.
What you think?
Absolutely, I agree — “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” isn’t just a phrase, it’s a reality we all experience. 💯
What one person finds stunning, another might overlook entirely. That’s becZ beauty isn’t a fixed standard — it’s shaped by personal taste, culture, emotions, and even someone’s mood or mindset in the moment.
And u’re right — sometimes we hear so many different opinions about our looks that it’s hard to know what to believe. One person might call you beautiful like you’re the moon itself, while another acts like you’re invisible. It doesn’t mean you’ve changed — it just shows how subjective beauty really is.
Truth is? You don’t need to be “universally” beautiful.
If even one person sees you and thinks “wow,” that’s proof you are beautiful — to them. And that’s enough.
But the real power comes when you start seeing beauty in yourself — in your smile, your vibe, the way you care, your energy. Because when you believe it, the world starts noticing it too. 🤍...
Yes definitely, some people finds us attractive and other doesn't.
Yes, because it is a fact. End of story.
I respect you so much
Sure. Beauty is subjective. Everyone has their own taste and you might be able to find people that are into very questionable looking people.
But the majority of people do not find a 300 pound woman that looks like she's had multiple plastic surgeries attractive. Her thinking she's beautiful to the majority is absolutely delusional.
I'm not talking about inner beauty. I'm talking about physical appearance. Sure, beauty is subjective to an extent, but there's a reason the majority of people find similar physical traits attractive and others not. If that wasn't the case, anyone could be a model (which is sadly the case nowadays with the body positivity crap).
But even when it comes to inner beauty, a person that has done tons of questionable acts in their life can still say they're a beautiful person and they would be delusional to think so.
If that's true then why do most Women see themselves as beautiful?
Are we not supposed to?
@PrincessC16 you are definitely at least old beauty 😍
Old or not I'm beautiful. I'm beautiful on the inside as well.
I said you are beautiful outside too ,
Oh thank you.
Absolutely, I agree with you! Beauty is subjective and varies from person to person. What one finds beautiful, another might see differently, and that's the charm of individuality. It's all about personal perception and connection, and that's why beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. 😊

Of course. There are universal characteristics of beauty that all people agree on. They include bilateral symmetry and good health. For women, they also include a small waist-to-hip ratio (that is, an hour-glass figure, big breasts are not required), smooth clear skin, and a youthful appearance. Other characteristics are in the eyes of the beholder.
Yess accurate standardized like your appearance, if you are in the pfp
For each individual person? Absolutely.
On a wider, societal level, including the media? Absolutely not.
Society has clear set boundaries on what it finds attractive and doesn't. Why do you think so many people get tons of plastic surgery just to live up to what is attractive at the current time?
It sucks and it's cruel, but society treats people's appearances like trends, basically.
But individual people don't necessarily agree with society or the media. So there's that positive.
Some people have objectively superior reasons for finding beauty. I'm not saying they find objectively superior beauty. Take two guys:
1) A man who thinks a woman is so beautiful because she has an amazing derriere. We might even agree with him and find her so attractive.
2) A man who thinks a woman is so lovely for a multitude of factors: her delicate wrists, her shoulders, neck, the curvature of her spine, the tone of her voice, the way she stirs her tea in the morning, etc. Perhaps we even find the woman he finds most beautiful completely opposite of our tastes.
I still want to say #2 has "objectively superior" reasoning behind his tastes, because they're reasoned, carefully contemplated, multi-dimensional, and way beyond "nice butt"! And that's even if we favor #1's choice more.
So beauty might be hopelessly in the eyes of the beholder, but some eyes are definitely better than others.
We might want to distinguish beauty from fuckability. Many are fuckable on the outside but have nothing but rotten horror cocks on the inside. Gotta start judging "beauty" based on clairvoyant cuckvestigative insight into the person's aura from now on.
Absolutely. We are all so different that it's impossible to standardize beauty. On top of that, our perceptions of people's physical appearance can actually change over time with an emotional connection to them (or lack thereof).
Yes absolutely right
Most definitely. I've had men that have made me feel unattractive. I've had men tell me I'm only kinda cute.
Then I have my current partner who tells me I'm beautiful and stunning and who's jaw drops when he sees me in a new dress!
it is, it's funny how a bunch of cells coagulated with bacteria can look good... but it does. I guess when this all started with some small organisms they were beautiful too..
I guess you could say those 'atoms' and electrons are hot? quarky?
Yes I think it is true! Though, there are some people who might be OFTEN or USUALLY seen as attractive, or the opposite, it really is up to each person to decide, and I believe that everybody is beautiful to somebody.
I do and could be their personality.
Yes 💯
I think you also experienced that some people find you attractive and some just average and maybe some bad looking, right?
Yeah I experienced that
I agree. Wanna know something hilarious? Some guy said I look average (like I care what a guy thinks about my looks) meanwhile he’s very below average 🤣🤣
I do but I think people also need to be realistic. If you are at least average looking there will always be someone that finds you attractive but some people are objectively bad looking.
There are some people who are attractive to general population, but in lots of situations, yes, I think that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
Yep, attractiveness is subjective.
Yes, it is true.
Another man's 10, is another man's 1
No you either look good or dont
So why do someone find you attractive and other don't?
I look good and lots of women like me.
I have my personal tastes.
Yes and No.
Yup. Agree.
