I vote C: Beauty is somewhat in the eye of the beholder.

Our own personal preferences come into play, but there are certain things about human beauty which are common. It's found that generally speaking, the closest to average faces tend to be the most beautiful. Most average sized nose, most average sized ears, most average distance between the eyes, most average sized chin, etc. tend to be the most beautiful. Check out these composites of average faces.

Facial symmetry plays a role in facial beauty, too. There's a reason why symmetry and averageness play a role in finding people attractive. They are both indicators of genetic health. Humans have been selected by evolution to find those traits attractive.

Here's another quote for you, "Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes right to the bone." People are FAR more likely to agree on what is ugly. Show the face of a supermodel to a group of people, and there will be some disagreement as to whether that person is attractive, but overall they will rate the model attractive. This is absolutely so. Humans are so different on so many levels of observation. There are no two identical people across the board, yet there exists upwards of 8 billion of us present on this planet at this time. I'll leave you with a quick example, my best bud Alec & I are so much alike at times it's freaky. Like no joke, me & this dude straight up finish each other's sentences sometimes, it's embarrassing. Yet even with all of our similar thoughts, feelings, & how we view many situations we encounter surrounding up's, downs, & everything in between this guy & I have such different tastes in the type of women we pursue. Think about all those early 2000's bro movie's, where one bro accepts his duty of taking the less attractive woman of a group, & there by sacrificing his ability to persue the hot one, as far as Alec & I are concerned we're always pursuing the hot one because our tastes just don't intersect to enough of an extent for there to ever be an issue, it's quite interesting to be honest how 2 dudes can be so alike, but so different. Specifically Physical Beauty?

I'll go with that as an example for now.

It's going to be different from everyone's perception and perspective.

While one person may appear really physically attractive to one person may not be really physically attractive or physically attractive at all to another person.

Ultimately physical beauty does not last forever, regardless of all the plastic surgeries or anti-aging products out there that are available.

And yea, in regards to your update: If your boyfriend finds you to be beautiful then you ARE Beautiful, from his perception specifically. So you are beautiful specifically to him, and if that is all that matters, then that's that. You will always be important and special to him so don't let the majority of society and guys to judge you otherwise.

I agree but not completely. While that is true, yes someone can find another to be beautiful another not. However It doesn't tell the whole story of what is beauty. That quote satisfy people on a smaller scale and It tends to stop at what is beauty to the majority of people. When you look at the majority, Ask the majority of who is more beautiful. The answer will showcase people siding subjectively but the difference is either one will get far more favorable side... Drastically different and shows a pattern of what people perceived as beautiful... So yes beauty is in the eye of the beholder and so is ugly is in the eye of the beholder.

Now the question is what are those factors that eye beholder decided what is beautiful or not to him/her. What we see as beautiful is not always just based on society's rule. I think in many ways they must first behold their own well, before they can allow others to behold and to rate. Our bodies are not canvas or sculptures we can edit. It’s not something we created, so we can’t have the mindset that we can drastically change things.

Not true. At least, not completely. Attractiveness is indeed highly subjective, BUT it's worth noting that there ARE certain physical cues and traits that people seem to generally and possibly genetically consider more desirable.

My facial features are manly and because of this, many people agree I am ugly. I've also moved a lot from town to town and city to city. I meet people, and I get insulted on my looks.
