What do you Wear Going to a Funeral?

Recently I went to a funeral. I didn't know him well but I knew his wife.

I wore a black suit with white shirt and black tie, with a black pullover because I thought it might be cold. And black brogue shoes.

I thought I'd overdone the black, but I wanted to show respect to his relatives that I didn't know.
