How do I deal with a mom who's super judgmental about second-hand clothes? Or how can I stop caring so much about her opinion?

Don’t get me wrong, I shop at malls and regular stores too, but today I went thrifting with a friend and found so many vintage clothes that are totally my style.

There is nothing wrong with going to a thrift store and getting nice things at a fraction of the cost. Sometimes I prefer buying clothes that are already broken in. New clothes have that stiff feeling until it is washed a few times.

Maybe move out, mom is mom. They will always like that. Personally i will never wear any used stuff, especially clothes. I prefer to have less clothes than wear used clothes.
