Battle of the bathing suits: Red vs Black- which color wins your vote?

Question

My two favorite colors are red and black. I've been doing a lot of summer shopping and I've bought a few outfits and swimwear.

This question is just for fun.

Which color has more"wow" factor in your opinion?

Given this choice, I would choose the black. It's simple. It's pure. It lets one focus on the girl, not the suit. If I had my choice of ANY color, it would by cyan. That is closest to the opposite of most tans, and via a visual effect called "simultaneous contrast", it would make the tan look even DEEPER and more exotic.

I'm convinced that red NEEDS black, just like black NEEDS red. As such, I already feel sad imagining them separated. Your poll truly lacks this third option, just make it happen.

I love red. It's my favorite color. I think it's a bolder color to wear and therefore a better color to wear. Black is just kinda boring tbh.

Red would be my choice. Not for a bikini though
I prefer orange I think for beachwear and slightly greater coverage on the bottom half. Top part maybe yellow or orange as well. For bathing or swimming shorts that is.

Always black. As the song goes:   " I've heard it said, that a lady dressed in red, don't really mean it". :)  I also dislike most shades of red, unless they lean towards burgundy or dark cherry.

It's hard to say authoritatively without seeing them on you, as a lot of the wow factor comes from how they contrast and compliment your skin tone. I think the red will stand apart in contrasting your skin tone. The black will still look amazing but the red will be a little something extra.

Red is eyecatching, but black fabric is less likely to bleed pigment when washed, plus it doesn't show stains easily.(like if you spilled icecream or snowcone syrup on it)
