It has to be  socially  weird unless you live in particularly accepting surroundings. As for the feels fabric gives you, well, there is nothing weird in a sensation. But since we don't live in a world of uniquely sensations, since there is a society around you, this society will certainly react to what you wear.

There's nothing at all wrong with doing this only don't expect others not to treat you differently.
Most will just ignore you and snigger or avoid you and next to no women will seek to engage with you let alone find you appealing.

I don't envy women's clothes as such, but I feel like a girl can put on e. g. a nice summery dress and it lifts her day, you can see the boost it gives, and I'm not sure what the equivalent is for me as a man. Like I don't get the same thing by putting on a new shirt or whatever. So I do admire that and I suppose even envy it in a funny way.
